    i've no idea, wouldn't be surprised. i was looking at the pack you get when you join the supporters club last night (bird's housemate joined), it was all so tatty, especially the coaster. Why are we sending people mdf coasters? someone needs shoeing. to have been near the top of world football for so long and still be so far behind the others in terms of selling ourselves as a class product is pathetic.

    i'm not sure. i get the impression he wasn't treated that well, even before that last season (don't even talk to me about athens). some have speculated rafa didn't like his lifestyle, i can see that being a contributing factor. it is, as you say and in the words of larry david, totally moot.

    yep. didn't expect us to miss him as much as we have. don't think we had much of a choice as others have said, but there have been quite a few games this season that crouch would certainly have come on, where keane stayed on the bench.
