Playing Agger and Skrtel together. That old chestnut. Have these 2 ever played as a CB partnership? It works wonderfully on paper doesn't it. If we can get someone as dominant as Hyypia, with his goals, then i'd be happy (ish) to see either of the aforementioned 'Partnership for years to come' sold at the right price. Vidic would be ideal. If only Rafa had known about him when United signed him eh. eh? oh.

weird one isn't it. he's almost definitely a bit of a b*****d to have working for you, but the lack of trust shown in him by successive boards is bizarre. he'll prove how good he is one day, but it might not be with us.

arguably the worst since Benitez took over yes, but none of them have been great. Behind the scenes has seemed shambolic for years and it seems to be coming to the surface now how bad things have been. We do not function effectively as a club, chain of command is all over the place. We can see it, presumably other clubs can see it too, we get taken for more rides than miss daisy every 6 months. It needs sorting as a matter of urgency because beyond the manager we're an absolute show.

People are too nice about Houllier. I can understand why, but there is no comparison between him and Benitez, and his influence on today's squad is infinitesimal. -

i know, but i don't think anybody would say torres missing most of the season has helped. we would be about 14 clear if you add last season's torres to this year's team. we've all been waiting for a few months for him to be fit and firing, fingers crossed he is now, and can score a lot of goals.
