Fair enough, just seems to be a little contradictory to your normal character here. to be honest I'm gutted about this, not because of any love for Rafa but because rather than a cross roads I think this is an almost certain decline for our club. I was relying on Rafa, even allowing for his imperfections, to maintain continuity at the club until we sort ourselves out. I know we've been over this a million times but next season I would drop Stevie back to the middle of the park, the main reason being that he seems to have lost 5-10% of his dynamism which made him unplayable further forward. I think later in his career he will naturally move back anyway. Would also free up cash for other areas of the park. This would allow Aqua to be played where he was yesterday, has a great eye ( ) for a runner and would not need to be completely combative like he would in the middle of the park.

Spurs and City still have a game in hand though, so in reality we need them both to win/draw/lose in their last 3 games. Villa we just need to draw once. Not impossible but not happening in a million years.
