so can we expect an update from Broughton?, or is that too much to ask? I still have a nagging feeling that no news is good news in this case, if there were no bidders they would say that I think. the NDA stuff from a few days ago makes a lot of sense.
what a complete scum bag, hope that Staffordshire bull terrier turns on him, clamps on his balls with his teeth and waits for him to pass out before swallowing them
tariqpanja on Twitter #Juve announce Aquilani deal is one year loan with option to buy the #LFC midfielder for 16 million euros. That would mean a 4 million loss 4M loss isn't as bad as I was expecting to be honest.
I don't actually think they were bulls***ting though, it was all on the money as far as I can tell. He was being fed by someone, the Times were being fed by someone, DH and Mike were being fed by someone. Basically I'm expecting some information to come through these channels to clarify this, probably the times to fit in with the PR style campaign. Also to allow the journalists to save face.
as far as I can figure its one of these : He's a bulls***ter He knows Broughton is playing him and he's called his bluff There's a preferred bidder lined up and he's bowing out gracefully
I don't see what the big deal is here. When was the last time you sold something big and didn't try to maximise the sale price ?, or on the other hand when did you last buy something and not try to ensure you don't overpay ? Granted this is a bit different than haggling over the bonnet of a used car but the theory is the same.
I would imagine that maximising sale price, within reason, is part of his remit. Maybe it would be a guarantee made to get G&H to relinquish control of the board.
