  1. RBS have a global restructuring division. Pretty sure they can run it as a going concern in the short term.
  2. We're on dangerous ground here, if we've made a mistake in appointing Roy, and it appears we have, then the correction of this and employment of the correct manager will be critical. If we make a mess of this again it will be another step into us becoming firmly mid-table.
  3. Sorry, that's balls. They are to blame for a lot but the manager has to take responsibility for losing to a club 4 divisions below us.
  4. a jobbie in their lobby?
  5. rage got the better of me...
  6. I'd settle for being able to walk past, call him a far c*** and tell him to get out of our club. And then shoving that phone right down his f***ing throat.
  7. That's probably all it is, the massive c**t has just been turned down by a hedge fund because the deal wasn't economic. Can't see DB being crazy enough to think otherwise.
  8. DIC don't have £250 to bid with as far as I know.
  9. He might be playing a blinder, he might've f***ed the whole thing up. It would just be nice to know but I suppose I understand that some things can't just be blabbed.
  10. Feeling more optimistic today about this. Are we all convinced that the sale process is dead?, or is there a chance that Hicks was desperate because he knew that the club would be sold?, either before or after the 11th October. At least Broughton is staying true to his word about not commenting on speculation.
  11. I think Purslow is on our side in this, in at least that he appears to be opposed to the current owners. To be honest I don't get the vitriolic hatred of him, if I had the chance to help my club through one of the toughest time in my history, but had to appear to be a complete c**t to do so, I'd do it everyday. Sometimes the dirty job needs done and he appears to be doing it.
  12. To be fair the reports say that the decision was made last month, before the fans got even a sniff of this happening. Don't think we can take any credit here to be honest, apart from for the effort applied. And, like Kev, I would love to know what Hicks was doing in London last week.
  13. Bloody good question Kev, I imagine he was being a c**t.
  14. From Twitter, been very well informed up to now as well tariqpanja Blackstone not interested in #LFC debt deal after holding initial talks with Hicks, people say

  16. For all the cursing and defamatory comments about them, I hope everyone realises that our best and maybe only hope lies with Purslow and Broughton in all this.
  17. So maybe we lose Gillett and get a f**king hedge fund instead?, super.
  18. This is just the start, there'll be months and maybe years of recriminations, court proceedings all at our expense. These cu*nts will stop at nothing.
  19. Makes sense to me Sion but I don't think Roy will put both Raul and Cole in from the off. Hope I'm wrong.

  21. Cheers boohog, to be honest I just have the fear as I know the fat texan c**t will stop at nothing and desperate men do desperate things Don't like the sound of that.
  22. what about at scandalous interest rates?, would a hedge fund take him up at huge rates ?
  23. It's a made up number I reckon, if we were available at that price there would be a queue out the door of rbs trying to buy us and the price would be driven back up to something more realistic.
  24. I didn't even think this was possible...
  25. I'm still of the mind that things are happening in the background with regards the takeover. The last statement was that there were bids and these were being assessed, the fact that the parties involved have not came out with an update to me says that this process is still ongoing. This seems a reasonable assumption to me as it fits with my own knowledge of business negotiations. Also can anyone give me, for the sake of argument, a single reason why they would be better keeping the fact that there are no bidders quiet?
