https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cly1lez5xp8o Andy Robbo talking about the ongoing impact of it all

Slot already told us what will happen next. Don't have the clip but it's when he says that Liverpool are the sort of club who know who they won't and don't just live from player to player and if things don't happen in one window we will wait and go back in the next window or the following summer. At the time I thought he was signalling about Isak, ie we'll be back to unsettle him again, but it could well have been about guehi - sell him now or we will put the pressure on in Jan or take him for free in June. And also saying to guehi that we would still be there for him, so as not to panic.

Parish has had a bad night. He's lost a lot of money, PSR upside, has acquisced to an ultimatum by an employee, has seriously undermined his relationship with the club captain, impaired the reputation of the club in the eyes of prospective signings in terms of career trajectory, has lost some trust from within the squad as their mate was denied the biggest move of his career, demonstrated that the club is not well run (hot on the heels of getting relegated to the conference league due to poor club administration) and all seemingly so that he didn't have the headache now of replacing the manager who will probably leave once his own opportunity to do likewise comes around. That's a bad night!

He went on strike to be a red, Isak, Isak He'll never leave Luke Edwards said, Isak Isak Young geordie Josh cried in his bed Like a dog they all were played Alexander Isak, liverpool's no. 9

With just a couple of tweaks this would be pretty close to a CL final 11 (1-11) 1 Allison 2 Gomez (Frimpong or Bradley) 3 Endo (Kerkez) 4 Virgil 5 Ibou 6 Kerkez (Grav) 7 Wirtz 8 Szoboszlai 9 Isak 10 Mac Allister 11 Salah

Ha ha blerts on SSN saying how Guehi has set an example to everyone as to how to go about things right... And he's left without getting his move
-
Will be fascinating to see if Glasner is there by the end of the October International window
-
So this friggin window has slammed shut* and we ain't announced anything formally about Isak and guehi.... *with no noise whatsoever
-
Palace can't afford to not sell Guehi.. in PSR world this sale is basically worth over £100 million to them of PSR dealings. this entire window, for all the bluster and noise, cold hard business decisions have driven what happens.

26th January 2024. I thought the ride was over. Jurgen said he was leaving and it was hard to not think this had been an amazing journey and now it would come to an end. A generational leader who was so utterly transformative for our club was leaving and with him our time as challengers for PL and CL glory would start with wither. 1st September 2025. It feels like we are the biggest club in the world. There is zero doubt that appointing Klopp was the catalyctic moment that changed everything. That was on the owners, as was the AXA and the 2 new stands. Were there times when it seemed they didn't want to behave like the biggest team in the world. Yup. Were there times when it seemed like their hopes of being able to compete on a level financial playing field were simply niave. Yup. Yet here we are, with seemingly total cohesion between ownership, board, football operations, manager, and team. The major capital projects delivered and paid for, and the financial management in a world that has evolved from FFP to PSR that rewards the brightest minds off the pitch to pay for the best talent on it. Since 2015 this has been one heck of a ride, and rather than slowing down with a whimper it feels like we are just about to steamroll all and sundry home and abroad. what a time to be a red. It's just wonderful.

Wow Right now it's just simply great to be us
-
I really hope this means they're sitting in an ambulance somewhere waiting for the code red

Apart from a few basic facts being out of whack and looking to cover his own back, the overall thrust of this is fairly on point.

Wey hey.... Wookie foresight

Indy had the thumbs up pic 30 mins before baldy 'broke it'

Surely this is only the Calvert lewin replacement

This is not throwing shade at Wirtz or some kind of inverted dig at Jones, but my constant lament at Jones is that he seems to slow the game down and play it at 'his pace' when you want him to keep it moving... And then you see how difficult it has been for Wirtz to 'bend the game' to his will and timing, and you realise just how hard it is to achieve. Weirdly a new found appreciation to what Jones is doing.. Even though I'll still be screaming at him to release it!

I'll be very (alright, fairly) surprised if this is reported as 'Liverpool have submitted a second bid etc etc'. This feels like 'Liverpool and Newcastle have agreed the transfer of Isak'. PIF and FSG are business people with interests that align in many areas not involving a 25 year old Swedish footballer. The right deal will get done in both our interests.

Just watched that first Fulham goal... That's honestly one of the worst decisions I think I've ever seen -

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/c776pe2keg1o Forgot that the national team would have to navigate their way through as well. Neves to wear the 21 shirt as one of Diogo's closest friends
-
There'll be nothing I reckon until after Newcastle’s game with Leeds tonight, then we can all tie a bow on it and everyone will take a break from it all with the internationals.
-
What if we're actually just bidding for the helicopter
-
Awkward...... Reckon the two fellas (probably fellas) sorted it all out on the first morning and since then it's been happy hour all week
