    The lineup is not what anyone would have wanted, but there needs to be no excuses. It's next man up and some of the supposed top players in Europe are starting for us. Time to show up

    So, I know this isn't right and can sound like only singing when you're winning... But I'm more or less reduced to being completely non plussed about the whole enterprise. It's so turgid I've stopped caring, which is a horrible place to be in. I'm more annoyed at not being annoyed than I am annoyed about the season.

    I do cos I just don't see the hype matching the reality. Not seen Isak either for Newcastle and definitely not for us, being remotely near the level of Torres

    Peak Torres was different gravy wasn't he. You watch that and it's hard not to think all the summer hype about Isak is a little embarrassing

    So, he doesn't really head the ball, ain't that fast, doesn't put in the sprints, doesn't connect with crossing wingers.. but if he's in the box AND on form AND others do the work for him - he's as good as gold?? Seems worth £130 million to me

    unfortunately right now he looks flat footed, slow and weak. It's like he's playing hindered by some mystery viral thing or something. It is definitely beyond not having a pre-season as he's been training for months now. It's just weird
