Ah that's just nonsense, he has played well at times this season and Everton last season? Why does every argument have to be extremes of one thing versus the other? No-one, including I expect, the lad himself, expects Brad Jones to be Liverpool Number one but that does not excuse Reina's poor performances. We need a "First" keeper and given I doubt Pepe would be willing to play second fiddle, it is more likely he would be the one to be replaced.

I don't really think so, not any more. Brad has been more than adequate this season whereas Pepe has, for more than just this season, been regressing severely. They're meeting in the middle and that's not what we need.

This season he's looked no better than Brad Jones so we're basically playing with "back ups" already. I can't understand how Reina has lapsed to the extent he has but he really has been poor for quite some time now and can't imagine anyone, fan or player, has that same level of confidence that "it's alright, Pepe will save it" we might have had back a few seasons ago? On that basis, a "better than Brad" keeper can't be that hard to find surely? And to clarify, I'm on the selling side of the field so.
