    Boring boring

They knew it was going to be Stephen Warnock's debut and they wanted to be there for such an occassion
  2. Really ? Is there a connection between both events ?
  3. She's anchoring the Luton/Blackburn live Cup game. When did that happen ? Certainly an improvement on Lineker Just hope she doesn't bring Robbie Earle & Andy Townsend with her.
  4. I'm confused. (easily done admittedly) Was the correct answer Steve Finnan but the original question was wrong ? OR Does the original question still stand, hence why still people are still guessing ?
  5. It was unfortunate for him the way he was portrayed in that Graham Taylor documentary when he was his assistant with England. Outside of that, he was a legend with us & always seemed a dead-sound bloke.
  6. Not sure if this is the incident or not, but it's the one the BBC have on their website :
  7. Should we just have a quiet little chuckle or go all out and crack open the champagne bottles ? http://www.rte.ie/aertel/p223.htm (this link is likely to expire/be overwritten in next 12 hours or so)
  8. Eamonn Dolan is Pat Dolan's brother....so the term "bit of a whopper" probably fits the bill. Used to be at West Ham years ago. Newstalk said the goalscorer was a Norwich player ?
  9. Would have been one of Jim Beglin's last games for us as it would have been quite soon after that that he had his leg broken by that blues**** Stevens.
  10. But I thought that the Mancs made up all of our songs for us Papers must have been wrong then.
  11. I think they wouldn't mind having Gerrard or Alonso in there either.
  12. Laughed my a*** off at Xavier after scoring the goal. He wanted to hi-5 everybody in the ground :-) He nearly knocked one of the backroom staff out with the slap he gave him.
  13. Were there tickets available this morning then ?
  14. I think I got more enjoyment out of the 2 minute passing spell near the end where we were taking the piss out of them and the crowd were lapping it up ("Hooray") then I would have out of a 3rd goal. The crowd were magnificent and it was such a joy to do that to that lot.
  15. Can we play you every week ?
  16. Will be interesting to see what agents he deals with during his tenure.
  17. Good points. SKY's main motiviation today was that there be a title race this season to keep viewing figures up for the remainder of the season. Chelsea losing didn't support that motive.
  18. The answer is in your question.
  19. Wasn't his first TV gig as a captain on ITVs answer to a "Question of Sport" ? I seem to remember him having an annoying habit of groping any female members of his team to the tune of an even more annoying high pitched giggle. Claim your £2.50 if you can remember the name of that quiz cos I can't.
  20. Thought Andy Gray wasn't as bad as usual today (possibly because he knew how well the result would go down up Manc way). In an indirect way Gray stated how much a better player Gerrard is than Lampard, and it's not often you will hear "pundits" imply that. He kept going on about how Terry was missed for his leadership and that Lampard wasn't providing that, then later in the game he stated how Gerrard lead his team so well today.
  21. Agger could have brought a deck chair today. Carra looked after Drogba so comprehensively, Agger was largely anonymous cos he had so little to do.
  22. Robben is a c**t. Drogba actually made a miniscule climb in my estimation today (from a very low starting base). Nice to see him have a smile with the fans at the kop end when he went sliding into the hoardings there. However, next time I see him celebrting a goal (unless its against the Mancs), i'm sure he'll plummet again.
  23. 1. Kuyt 2. Carra 3. Gerrard
