I feckin' hate the offal sometimes . Headline "Midfielder ready to fight for his place" but suggestion of a date is weeks. I know its a story they lifted from the magazine, but they could have been a bit more accurate with their headline. MIDFIELDER READY TO FIGHT FOR PLACE

I agree. The first 30 mins was so familiar. Loads of possession, no goals....then BANG caught on the counter. Only difference was that Arsenal continued to exploit our weak defence for the remainder of the first half and killed the game, helped by some hapless defending.

Gerrard's attempted tackle for the Arsenal 2nd goal was ridiculous and not at all like him. He was the last guy that could make a tackle before Rosicky struck, but seemed to pull out. I thought first time it might have been Agger or Xabi, but I was amazed to see it was Stevie.

Yeah, closely followed by his "joke" re. the daylight interpretation re. offside when Lawro pipes up "but what about when it's a night game".....f****ng pathetic, childish, imbecile talk. It's also the 2nd or 3rd time he's used that one. Lawro should be above that.

Fair point, but I do think that loyalty is so rare now that it can and should be marked by something like this. If Carra gives a whack of it to charity, then all the better.
