I don't want to upset anybody so move on if you think talking about the financial aspects of Dogo's tragic passing is in bad order. The funeral is over, everybody is stunned and upset but normal life in the middle ofa transfer window has to resume. I would be absolutely amazed if the club didn't have Diogo's life insured for their full 'insurable interest' (The amount outstanding to Wolves), it is perfectly normal business with a key employee. The same for death in service of an employee, I'm pretty sure there would have been a policy in place, probably covering the contractual obligations paid under trust to Diogo's family.. It's horrible talking about these things when it's still so raw but this conversation was stopped in it's tracks by Jack (which I'm not knocking him for). The club will be looking for Diogo's replacement, this may be Danns but there is no difference in the finances available as a result of Diogo's terrible accident. I've not enjoyed broaching it but think it can now be spoken about.

Whether the EU is racist or not Brexit sent out messages about sovereignty, taking back borders and kicking out unwelcome people by taking away their right to be here. Plenty of people with closet racist and xenophobic views suddenly became vociferous and opinionated. It was a real eye opener, particularly the numbers involved. This was particularly true about my generation.

I'm going to try and lighten the mood, just a little bit. I've seen thousands of silly piss take clips on this internet thingy over the years. But Diogo's winner against Spurs seconds after they had equalised and their podcast idiots beings so excited they didn't notice was, well..... He was a great striker no doubt, on a relatively poor run of form after a lot of injuries, our frustration comes through sometimes but I think he'd have stayed and got through it, I'm not just saying that, he was a great poacher. and his Everton goal clinched the title, not literally but the door had just crept open until he closed it. I don;t think anybody is ever going to forget him, ever.

@ Bogman I think you might want to check out your response mate, it's obviously a typo. Sorry for your loss mate, may she rest in peace.

Paul Konchesky Scored a fluky goal against in Cardiff 2006, signed by that rancid old c***, was fcking useless, got loads of stick, his mum chirped up, called everybody a Scouse c*** and he left to the delight of everybody when flaccid knob fcked off.. Now THAT was a weird 'career'.

I know. But with due respect to two great lads I think they fall short of ever being elite footballers in very key positions, I think we can do much better if FSG keep the purse open. Both with the potential to rule the world. Harvey not quite so much. I love the lad, but his ceiling isn't high enough.

The side I hope to see inside the next 12 moths does not have Harvey, or for that matter Curtis in it. We are moving up, no disrespect to those two. They're decent premiership footballers, we are aspiring to be the best side in the world along with perhaps two or three others.

Speaking as a short a*** who played at centre back on many occasion, if your timing is good you can more than hold your own when a long ball comes in, it's on balls from out wide that the problem manifests.

I joined in 2002, at that point I was 2 years older than you are now. Enjoy.
