It breaks my heart. It' never been a pretty town but it's been sorely neglected and run down by every council for 40 years. My generation of ungrateful selfish racist tossbags are always slagging it off on Social Media because it's full of foreigners now and unsafe. It offered sanctuary to everybody after the war, thousands of Indians and Pakistanis, welsh, Poles (loads) and all sorts. The biggest trading estate in Europe offering thousands of jobs and the GLC built three enormous council estates for the London overspill. I went to grammar school and almost half of my class were from the local council estate. This was at a time when the local working class became truly aspirational and so many improved their life. An immigrant town because it's next to a fcking airport, this seems to baffle a lot of people for some reason. we came here from Walton with all that entails, it gave our family opportunities to move on and I will never hear the town slagged off by these ungrateful pricks on Facebook But it is indeed a shytehole in places now though, all down to underfunding and corrupt leadership.

I've culled down to 18, I think you have until the season starts or thereabout. Then you can remove, replace or reinstate so long as you don't exceed 18 going forward. It might not be as drastic as it initially looks.

I’ve thought on about what Paul said and he’s given me an idea. All is not lost, unless you are a full kit w***er.

With respect Paul, I run our ST's to try and help out mates when we can't go, but there is a limit to the amount of 'Agg' I can do year in and year out, we're not touting as you know. 18 is plenty, you can't please everybody. Having said that, I'm not sure all of this will apply to ST holders, they were closing the F&F list in September but never did for us.

I've trimmed down to 18 now, amazing how many people on there I haven't got a scooby who they are? There are a few people going to be disappointed I'm afraid.

I bumped into Matty walking down the road one sunny afternoon in The Cromwell Road. It wasn't long after Istanbul and I thought it best we carried on where we left off. Unfortunately for Matty who had seen me staggering up the road after a session, I had an 8 pint start on him, dragged him into a pub and called him a c*** for an hour for a laugh. Well, I thought it was funny, can't recall why he got so upset?

Xenophobia is never far away with you is it. Just for the record, my son and his partner pulled out of our holiday at the last minute. This upset my wife greatly but as I told you at the time, they are both highly educated 30 plus adults who had paid for their own holiday and make their own decisions, as we all do. So the three of us went, with a lot of reservations but we had paid thousands of pounds as it goes, non engagement got us through but we won't be going back any time soon. So the next time you accuse somebody of 'putting money before your family's safety' can I just say on behalf of the person you say it too, mind your own fcking business when you are talking about a person's family, their safety and well being. I've been dying to tell you this for months.

Mike is defo alright in real life. An acidic forum tongue, he pissed me off a few times but I know him now, he's fine. He had a rough time. I'm not sure he's out of it actually.

Gilps is more than sound, Cymro not so much. He's a lovely fella.
