That was those flexi-rubber legs that could bend round to nick the ball, even it looked like he'd been beaten.

There's loads of players being mentioned - McDermott, Whelan, Case, Cally, Lawrenson - who I wouldn't say were under-rated by our own fans during their playing days. Maybe outside Anfield. Walsh had a fantastic spell and our fans rated him, and he should have got England caps at that time. Wark's probably not a bad shout, though the number of goals he stuck away was his major contribution.

Normally I don't get wound up by ex-players and some of the stuff they spout. But this is so far below the belt, it shouldn't be ignored.
