  4. I think we are at the point now where any new signing insn't going to add many more points if any to last seasons total. Virgil and the Alisson have transformed our team, probably adding 10 points each over the season. but we seem to have a really well balanced squad at the minute, so bringing in a huge signing could actually have a negative impact and disrupt the balance. I think we need a few squad players though. we need cover at left back, and probably another attacking midfielder, but we also have a few youngsters who could step up if required. right now for us its about evolution, rather than revolution. I fully expect this season that us and City will be miles ahead of everyone again.

  6. anyone going to Tranmere game?
  7. because he's an attention seeking mythomaniac bellend?
  8. he might be a high profile manager, but he comes across as thick as pigs***. has he done anything of note in management or coaching?
  9. yep. but the way they probably see it is that even if he is only 30% fit, he's still their best player

  11. could be trying to reduce the amount of people qualifying for final tickets too. bottom line is the stadium isn't big enough. if we had 80000 seats it still wouldnt be big enough. People spout on about man utd being the biggest club in the country or whatever, but in terms of actual fans who want to go and watch their team play, i doubt very much theres another team in Europe who have as many fans trying to get to see the team on a regular basis as we do.
  12. As much as i'd love it to happen, i just cant see it, unless Mbappe isn't money motivated. Because Madrid will pay more than us, and I cant see us breaking the wage structure and potentially upsetting other players in the dressing room. Still, nice to be linked to these types of players, rather than Clint Dempsey and his ilk

  14. Someone lower mid table at home would be great, a Burnley or brighton or someone. Prefer to avoid the newly promoted sides away from home first week or two, and ideally get maybe Man U, Chelsea or Arsenal away early doors while they're in a bit of disarray.

  16. He's always been a massive Liverpool fan apparently .
  17. realistically how many games will a ressie keeper play? just leave Mig there, and if he f***s off, let Kelleher sit on the bench
  18. ive been trying to avoid the buildup all week. heads gone now

  20. not really, but if you're going to have it in Madrid, at least use the biggest stadium available
  21. the amount of match regulars without tickets for this final is disgusting. I know people with tickets who haven't set foot inside Anfield all season. our support at this final has the potential to be worse than Basel when our end was full of braying bellends. it was more Cheltenham races than travelling Kop
  22. spanish plod are bellends anyway. up there with the italians in looking for aggro. hoping that its being so high profile, they'll be a bit more restrained
  23. divocks had some great games lately. but lets be honest, hes not very good. as much as i admire his commitment and his work rate, and that hes banged in a few really important goals this season, he's never going to be good enough to be a regular first teamer here. not if we have ambitions to win the big trophies. if we wants to stay and be 3rd or 4th choice keep him. if not, im sure someone will give us silly money for him
  24. thing with Zaha is he plays well in bursts. then, what happens is teams give him special attention and mark him out of games and he goes quiet. a few weeks of him doing f*** all and teams pay him less attention and he goes on the rampage again. hes a good player if given space. at a top club, where space is hard to come by as teams defend deeper and in numbers, i reckon he struggles
  25. assuming its a normal sized plane, a 767 or whatever, it will have about 200 seats on it. works out about 250 a seat
