  8. probably because it makes more sense to have some experienced quality players as back up if we get a few injuries rather than a few untried kids.

  11. is there a serious case for f***ing this off this season and giving ourselves a few free weekends? regardless of the result against City on Thursday, i would be happy not to see a first teamer near the squad for the wolves game
  12. i think he looks more like Frank Sidebottom
  13. Citys defeat by Palace has ramped up my PMT here. ive been quite calm all season although I think because im in Ireland and wont be at the game it's making it worse. if we can get 6 points from these next 2, theres a good chance City will drop a couple more as Leicester and Southampton are 2 awkward places to go at the minute.
  14. you all realise that what Lovren has or hasn't said to the media has absolutely zero impact on our next game or any other game you bunch of superstitious weirdos. go out on friday. win move on to the next one. win the league in May, job done.
  15. if we win our next 4 i reckon we will win the league
  16. from what ive seen of Wolves, they play a lot on the counter, and have been awkward to play against. but our forward line is slowly but surely starting to find some form and i'd hope we will get an early goal and force them to come out and have a go
  17. was funny that. it was still getting sung full pelt heading up Break Road after. hats off to George for playing it. it was perfect
  18. 1-1 . not sure if i'd rather City go through here. the more games they have to play the better i reckon
  19. its not about players in less than glorified terms. You ever think maybe Klopp sends out Henderson with specific instructions to keep the midfield organised and recycle the ball? Lucas did a similar thing for years. Henderson when he played alongside him played slightly further forward in a different role. but he's now playing deeper and therefore the role he plays has changed, and also explains why he is in and out of the side as set up slightly differently depending on who we play. I wouldnt be surprised if he's moved on in the summer, not because he only passes backwards and sideways, but because at his age he needs to be playing every week and he isnt going to get that here, because Fabinho is simply a better player
  20. he's getting pelters from all sides over there. i know its small time but im delighted its not worked out for him. not because I dont like him, but because it might make others think twice about leaving if Barca or Madrid make a move for them.
  21. The problem is simple. No matter how good we are, no matter how many games we win, no matter how good our start has been, people need a whipping boy, and ours in Henderson. There are people, and you see them on twitter a lot, who seem to get their entire understanding of the game playing FIFA on the xbox or footie manager on the PC.
  22. ive no issue with Clyne, I actually think hes better defensively than TAA, who, and lets be honest, has been ht and its this season.
  23. Clyne is more the capable. Was excellent on Sunday and he'll see this as an opportunity to win his place back in the starting 11, which can only be a good thing
  24. big shout out to RedHarvest, NYR, Stressederic and Billy Talbot who predicted a December departure for Mourinho. You'll have to split Cobs' £5 between you
  25. they're shorter odds to get relegated now than to win the league
