  1. it wont work, but the club need to look at cross completion loyalty. giving someone who as been to 6 games the same chance as someone who has maybe been to 46 games over the season is scandalous
  2. this better go to pens. theres nothing worse than sitting through a turgid game, then extra time, hoping for a bit of drama and tears, and then some c*** spawns aa 119th minute winner
  3. hes devastating going forward from right back. His delivery and passing is the strongest part of his game. defensively though he isn't as strong as Robbo on the other side. Hes a young lad, and this may come later, but I just think he will end up sooner or later in midfield

  5. i think if everyone is fit and firing we will see Fabino, Gini and Keita all ahead of Henderson. I also think sooner or later we will see Trent starting games in midfield too
  6. Hes team captain. when everyone is fit he isn't in our best 11. hes left out of more big games than he starts. hes 30 next year. I genuinely wouldnt be surprised if he ends up at somewhere like leicester
  7. if we get him, who moves on? Cant see Lovren getting sold tbh, he seems a good lad in and around the squad and is Salahs best mate, so is Gomez moved to RB and maybe Trent into midfield? so that really only leaves Matip. thing is now, any improvements we make will be marginal. we wont be able to buy players who will add a dozen points like VVD or Alisson did last year
  8. aye, I get that. you suggesting hes some sort of untouchable hard nut or something?
  9. why?
  10. Joao Felix at Benfica looks a player. think we need cover in a few positions and will likely see a few getting moved off the wage bill too, Moreno, Sturridge, maybe Milner if Leeds get promoted. wouldnt be surprised if Henderson went either and we get a couple of new central midfielders
  11. i disagree with this. season ticket holders are shelling out a wedge each season without knowing whats going. if we end up having a s*** season, they've already financially committed, while others can just jib it. but the main issue is with UEFA. how they can justify giving clubs 16000 tickets for the showpiece game is ridiculous. fans should be getting 80% of the tickets as a minimum for the final.
  12. 05 still for me, because we had half a dozen good players surrounded by crap. that Milan side were one of the best sides of the last 40 years. Tuesday night was the best night at Anfield though, beats Chelsea 05 hands down
  13. Im thinking of organising a coach to the final. initial pricing suggests anywhere between 300 and 350 return pick up and drop off in Liverpool, with a potential overnight stop in Zaragoza on the friday night then on to Madrid on saturday morning and straight back after the game. anyone be interested in this? im thinking of getting a 53 seater coach but limiting the numbers to 30 or so, so its a bit more comfortable to travel on and give people a bit of room to kip Mods: assume its to post this?? if not delete it :-)
  14. 16613 tickets is a disgrace, Wonder how many people will have the 6 homes? you'd imagine anyone with an away credit will have been to all 6 homes, so if 40000 have all 6 home games, and the corporates and hangers on and all the c**** who only go to 2 or 3 games a season but always seem to show up at finals get theirs, theres probably a what, 1 in 3 or 1 in 4 chance of getting a ticket?
  15. Id rather play ajax in the final, simply because I think Spurs are a better side, but also if we were to lose i'd rather lose to Ajax than have to listen to Spurs fans forever

  18. spurs cant really afford to drop points this weekend either
  19. Keita is starting to find his feet. I'd leave him in there and keep Gini fresh for Porto away. Matip or Lovren is one of them, and Robbo ahead of Milner a no brainer
  20. could actually do with the mans winning this. we need them to be in with a chance of 4th when they play city. if they're too far back the c**** will down tools
  21. it'll be us v Juve. and if im right i'll stay at home and watch it on the tv
  22. smash these out of sight and hopefully be in a position to rotate a few for the away leg
  23. yeah, we will. Deeney sticking the boot into city was boss
  24. 2 nil Wloves. hopefully they see it through
  25. if it wasn't for city, one more win would have us champions. which is f***ing insane really as its early april
