  1. Money is a massive factor. Not only will they pay him a daft salary and a huge signing on bonus, his agent, also his brother will get a fat percentage of life changing money. Standing in the way of all that is FSG who also need to resign our two best players this window.
  2. He did, but if we can get a few quid for him now and avoid the sideshow, I’d let him go now to be honest.
  3. Dunno if it’s because I’m getting old but I’m not really arsed. Obviously he’s dead to me if he goes but this doesn’t feel like a critical blow. He’ll have done an Owen / Macmanaman and how he’s treated by his own City and the fan base will be similar. For the rest of his life. But he’s not stupid and maybe that doesn’t bother him as much as it would me. He’s an amazing player on his day.
  4. About 5 mins before he scored you could tell it was coming. Something changed about him and he just looked untouchable. I thought him and Virgil would have been announced by now. Fingers crossed.
  5. I like Mel but can't erase the memory of her being told via Twitter about Coutinho when she'd been saying for weeks he was committed to Liverpool and unlikely to pull any fast ones. Just hope this isn't Hughes hopium and he's already clocked off for Christmas.
  6. Just popped in to say ahahahahahaahhahahahaahhahahaha. They're like the Ev under Kenwright.
  7. Needs backing in January with 2 or 3 signings plus the contracts sorting. f*** off FSG.
  8. Need more info on his slippers situation.
  9. Just watched it back in full. We were excellent. Gravenberch immense and Luis Diaz is a really wonderful footballer with an epic song. Reminded me of Firmino yesterday, technically breathtaking and a total nuisance. Glorious start to December.
  10. Reckon he's nailed on for City. Had a whiff of it in the summer.
  11. Found the post match interviews really interesting. Arne saying we don't play that different to Jurgen's team, Andy Robbo saying it is very different! Suppose it depends on the player / position but there's no doubt we are less chaotic and more controlled for large periods than we were under Jurgen. Despite where we are, still feels very much like we are in a building phase and there's more to come. Another midfielder or a really top finisher / number 9 that can stay fit and things could get very interesting indeed!

  13. Them going down the season they move to the new stadium would be the most Everton thing ever. It's definitely on.
  14. This is it. He rarely says anything unless there's a reason to say it. He's giving Hughes and Edwards the hurry up.
  15. Sometimes it takes a goal like that to realise how much you love them. I could watch that from Mo all day.
  16. Vibe I get is his head is chocker with the Madrid stuff. He's a generational talent but he's better off on the bench for a spell while he gets fully fit and makes his mind up.
  17. The memories are very hazy but there were times today that looked like pre Kenny 80’s football. Comfortable playing it around the back, was half expecting a pass back to Clem. Ruthless from Mo at the end, seemed to slow time and sit them all down. Time wasting aside, I thought Villa were a very good side, maybe the toughest we’ve faced this season.
  18. Ref is f***ing terrible, wasn’t going to give the foul on Mo and done nothing with the time wasting.

  20. Jurgen can do whatever the f*** he likes after giving us absolutely everything.
  21. Agree, they haven't won s***. That statement of theirs is laughable.
