  1. Dead behind the eyes yeah. He didn't look well yesterday, maybe Linda's been pecking his head. I don't think he was as bad when they first bought us either.
  2. If you've managed not to cry yet, this will get you
  3. John Henry gives me the heebie jeebies.
  4. Some big decisions these next few weeks. Trent, Mo, Virg. Maybe even Diaz and Darwin too. Joel and Thiago going will have freed up a bit of cash.
  5. Really sorry to hear about your dad. I lost mine between the Barca game at Anfield (‘I’m missing all this’) and Madrid. Everyone is different but it does get easier with time. The berks on here and in the Swanny can be very comforting if you need us. Go easy and look after yourself. He’s been like a dad to him, I think he’s said as much, so I’m not going to read too much into the tears. I hope we’re offering him an eye watering contract.
  6. Extraordinary, upbeat end of an era. That was something else.
  7. If it takes forever, Norb, then I'm prepared to wait The day you come back to us, won't be a day too late
  8. First time I thought about downvoting in 20 years. That's a Scouse classic.
  9. It's the tiniest of hints that you never know. Think I'm still in denial here. Can't imagine us without him. There's no higher praise than that after 40+ years of being obsessed with the Reds.
  10. Just watched the TAW interview as well, it’s great. I’ve been a bit detached since the title went, not because I’m sulking but because I know what’s coming. He’s irreplaceable and he’s been a big part of my life since he arrived. Honestly feel a bit afraid what with sportswashing, rule breaking, VAR and biased refereeing, Hedge Fund blood suckers and all the other grim parts of the game that I might not feel the same way about it again. Here’s hoping it is as good in a different way and the beginning of another great era.
  11. Jurgen seemed much more like his old self after the match today. You just want to see him happy don't you?
  12. Yeah you can send yourself mad with it. But we could have been 9 points better off before we even got there and playing with the kind of swagger that would have swept them aside. I’ve no doubt that the first Spurs game had an effect on the team. Wouldn’t be surprised if the Arsenal and City games did too. Something needs to be done in the summer about the refs and VAR. I hope Jurgen f***ing volleys them before he leaves.
  13. Despite the last few weeks, if it hadnt been for the incompetence of referees earlier in the season, this could be very different. I have to stop myself thinking about it because it makes a part of me hate what football has become.
  14. Circling the drain is spot on. They’re f***ed. Debts of at least £360m, I doubt they’re worth that even with a completed new stadium. Going to be interesting to see how the PL spin this because Moshiri was never fit and proper.
  15. Flashbacks of Pardew
  16. Made a c**k of himself, very disappointing.
  17. This content is not viewable to guests.
  18. Pretty sure this is DJ Sasha at 9.54 in the away end! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YS214Z06Yow
  19. Lynn, I’ve trod on a Sipiiiike….
  20. Both Carragher and Neville’s arguments seemed to suggest they are beyond criticism, which is exactly how Webb wants it. The reality is there’s a multitude of measures that can be taken that will make them infinitely better almost instantly -mic them up on field and for conversations with VAR -remove the ‘clear and obvious’ rule and apply the laws of the game using VAR where necessary -have a big enough pool to stop Mancs and SY coppers refereeing us every week -relegate them for s*** performances -ban them from cosy earners with City and Newcastle owners because of the glaring obvious conflict of interest -ban them from extra media appearances -automate decision making using technology so decisions are consistent through the league and the season Those are all off the top of my head and not difficult to implement. just needs someone at the PL that isn’t a d****ead to lay the law down to them. Webb should be sacked as well. He’s a f***ing disaster
  21. Just waking up here in Asia. Lovely stuff.
  22. I can see your point, but it essentially makes every game played by every team, every pound spent by every supporter, (and sponsor, TV company, but f*** them really) completely pointless. If I'd spent thousands travelling up and down the country, or millions on sponsorship and TV rights, I'd be pretty f***ed off if the league's answer was 'yeah we made a mess of that, let's just forgot it, but thanks for the cash'. They'll only be able to place so much of the blame on City's cheating. The PL being the greed fest it is haven't given a f*** about integrity which is why football is in this mess. But if they award the trophies to teams that have actually obeyed the rules, it goes further than just wiping out season after season. Edit: I'd give this about 1/100 chance of actually happening, I don't think they've got the balls to really nail City, and I don't think they're bothered about restoring integrity as long as the cash keeps rolling in.
  23. I want them stripped and awarded to second place teams. Will be able to hear the howls all over the country. It'll be great.
  24. Yep. Play the lads coming back into sharpness. I'm really at a loss with Mo. I think his legs have gone, he's a shadow of what he was. It'll be between him and Virgil as to who gets a contract offer in the summer and at the moment he's nowhere near making me think he's worth it. If the rumours are true that Edwards wanted Henderson let go, can see the same happening this time. Went to bed last night thinking I was done for the season and then woke up to the Villa result this morning....
  25. Bradley on the other hand is working his balls off and is one of the few that looks aggressive.
