I can't believe the level of pessimism over the last few pages - are we talking about about the same squad of players? We were let down badly in the league last year when we were unable to field our first choice eleven - those in reserve were not up to scratch and we lost points at places we shouldn't have. Now we have more strength in depth and the quality across the board that we've been missing for years. F*ck Manure, Chelsea and the players that chose to go elsewhere, they're an irrelevence - it was losing/drawing at no-marks that left us 21 points behind the leaders last year. We've got Rafa... and at last he's got the opportunity to rotate quality with quality, and I, for one, am excited at the prospect. Cheer the f*ck up!!

That's Rafa's perogative! * * * * * * * * * If we can get our hands on either Mancini or Quaresma I'd already see that as a good 'closed seasons' business. I think hoping for both might be a bit greedy, but if they both turn up they're worth a shirt.

It's already been established that maybe Rafa is not the most personable fella in the world - his man-management of Stevie G is a prime example of this. He is however, a superb manager so I don't give a f*ck whose nose he puts out of joint. I also believe (with no proof, I might add) that we have plenty of money to spend on transfers and quite sensibly, we're just not shouting this from the rooftops - time wil tell.

Please let this be true... but how much is it going to cost? Will it be done by July 1st? Are you going to concentrate on the left or right-hand side, or are you more concerned about up-front? It's no good just giving us t**-bits of information we need to know the details

Obviously, Kaka will need to be kept under wraps but the player I fear most is Gattusso. He's got a great engine and he's the one player in their side that can really get them up for it (hopefully Stevie will cripple him early doors).
