Spectacularly so.

On the US commentary, Trevor Francis, called the tackle in the first minute and then a further one after 25 mins or so, both yellow card offences. No surprise to see Scholes taken off more or less as soon as he did get the yellow.

That was good while it lasted.

First thought I had.

Just looked at jwh.com. Its not pretty reading. All the performance data is there.

Correct. Fox have had Warren Barton 'straight red', Eric Wynalda ' no red', Brian McBride 'red'. All said 'no penalty'. All said ref was terrible.

terrible decision.

Charlie Adam's conversation with the Red Sox outfielder was great too.

Too much explaining of what is, to us, basic stuff about the club and football in general. BR does come across as a little bit much 'new age man'. He does however have a very nice car and house.

terrible challenge by Johnson

Sahin has just come on for Real against Milan in NY.

Neville's squeaky scream made me puke.

That was Richards, Balotelli wanted a fight.

Exactly. Small time.

Aurelio versus Portsmouth.

Stewart Robson.

Offside called on Skrtel.

Every ball from Henderson goes backwards.

Taylor is at it again in The Guardian. Apparently he's got some sort of a promotion. Decent piece on Mark Hughes but there's a paragraph tagged on the bottom about our 'warped sense of injustice' and linking the Oldham events to the Suarez case. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2012/jan/14/mark-hughes-qpr-premier-league-football

Dempsey would be a decent Dirk replacement. Not outstanding at any one thing but works his a*** off, covers a wide positions as well as striker.

IN the US we have Alan Parry and Paul Walsh. Both called it a straight red and wonder whether it'll be reviewed retrospectively.

Wasn't there a Liverpool fanzine back in the 80s called "Another Wasted Corner"? Gary McAllister took good corners, IIRC.

And on wednesday night, we had Frank de Boer the Ajax coach saying that the AZ keeper had acted as he did (when the fan attacked him) because of his "South American temper". He's Costa Rican anyway so not South American but still, these Dutch are clearly so well adjusted. Also, in the BBC text commentary during wednesday night's matches referred to Rooney attempting to get on the end of one of their goals as a "tinker".......

There is also a best player of the past 20 years poll and Stevie is in first place. http://www.skysports.com/poll/results/0,19911,12782_308667_308667,00.html

Yes.
