  1. i agree with all of that. i have never read such t***tting b******s in all my life in the original post.
  2. agree with all of that
  3. sly sports say its on the back page of the scum
  4. This content is not viewable to guests.
  5. did i here that soft twunt right when he said that wasnt a foul by elliot ward? fook me, how the heck do you compare that tackle to the sending off?
  6. deffo beardsly. i thought 1.8. barnes was signed before from memory, for 900k
  7. ST in the kop. every home game without fail. and all european cup finals away.
  8. my mate was telling me that he was watching espn and it was teh 3-3 from the 80's. he has a ST at liverpool, and he says that he heard very very loudly, "munich, munich" from the kop, and "shankly 81, shanly 81 from the t***s down the east lancs. perhaps this is what these games are will be like forever, perhaps we should accept that things like this will go on at everymatch between teh clubs. Its been round for decades, and has never let up. lets just accept it and not get so pissed off by a bunch of c****.
  9. lads, owen will be regarded as a liverpool great, but he aint got a patch on rushie!!!!! 55 goals in a season??? owen got 30 in one season alone (unless my memory fails me) and again with did. How many brilliant central midfielders have we had over the years? didt was a very good servant to this club, but he was nothing compared souness, molby, mchmahon, whelan etc.
  10. i thought it was refreshing seeing the number of kids getting to see the game, rather than all of us old t***s who have ST and never letting the kids get a look in. I took my kid, it was her 6th birthday. she was teaching teh blokes round her how to sing "fields of anfield road" to everyones surprise! as for chants like "easy, easy" and "your not singing anymore". i was watching ESP the other day and distinctly heard these chants dyring the 80's and 90's games. although i must admit even though i was going to the games during those days its only watching the games on ESP did i appreciate that that we did in fact singing it. for a milk cup game, on a terrible wednesday, to get a full house and with a good atmosphere, plus the number of kids who managed to watch a live game, i thought the fans came away with a lot of credit.
  11. I ve been to old toilet in the home end, i have even sat in the glwadys by myself with a liverpool top on when we have just been beaten 2-0. and yet, i never heard the amount of abuse that we endured yesterday, or regulary from everton. But we are just as bad. the abuse that manu got in last seasons FA cup was just as bad. But only recently have i noticed that everton have been blaming us for the euro ban, manu never sang about us killing anyone before. although i heard chants of "hillsborough, hillsborough" in 92 during our parade lap being the last game etc. but it was never as bad as these days. what has changed? why do we get the abuse we get from the pair of them, and why do we give it out just as bad to manu. (we dont give everton anything like as much s*** as we get of them). what has made this become a match of screaming purple faces? was it may 2005? i dont remember it being like this before hand.
  12. if we put pressue on their midfield and defence, they will collapse.
  13. i wouldnt swap my greatest memories in turkey for two league titles. for me, since i was two, my biggest wish was to go to the european cup final and watch us win it. I can honestly say the real life experience was a million times better than anything i ever wished for. although, now that we have won the cup, if i had a choice this year i would prefer to win the league.
  14. you beat me to it.
  15. at least jerzy got a few digs in.
  16. whats your definition of "bigger and better"?
  17. i wonder how many have been clased as OGs though?
  18. I used to get into the old kop realy early. to get rid of the boredom the kop used to throw balls around. Anyway i got t****** in the face on a freezing cold day by a minature casey once. i had adidas on the side of my face for two days. does that count?
  19. i dont beleive that, and i dont particulary remember there being an awful lot of boos after his final games. ( i may be wrong). the football at the end of his reign was awful. the board could see it with there own eyes.
  20. You really can not see the distinction between supporting your team and criticising them constructively after the match. We the fans influence what happens on the pitch. regretfully you have reinforced the negative view off out of towners with your views. we the fans are part of that team on the pitch. we can hold a post mortem after the match, but not whilst were on the pitch. For some people, because of your location you shouldnt be allowed the privedge of a ticket. you should be second in the line after locals. for people who hold this opinion you have given them all the fuel they need. there are unwritten rules about being a liverpool fan. one of them is that you dont boo. we are liverpool, this is anfield, we do not boo. FULL STOP.
  21. the point, is that those players represent the city of liverpool. we are the people of liverpool they represent. the people and players are in this together. how many times has our crowed influenced the outcome of a match? i can think of many. its the the players and the fans against Blackburn, not a load of premaddonas v Blackburn. together the players and the fans can win matches. split the players and the fans apart and we are on the slippery slop downwards.
  22. sorry to hear about your legs. the reason for the question is that you justify the booing of individuals because in your opinion they "carnt be @rsed" how do you make this conclusion? I have never played professional sport, but i can relate to it to some degree. I used to run marathons and regularly got under the 3 hour mark. (which for a fun runner is the equivalent of a 4 min mile). At the same time i used to play 11 and 5 aside. the 5 aside was against old men from work. I remember whilst training for a marathon i had a game in the zingary league on a Wednesday. I was the dogs b@llocks. I had twice the amount of energy on the field than anyone else and got man of the match. On the following Sunday i did a 15 mile run in training (not the longest of training runs) . I then had a 5 aside match against big beer bellied middle aged men on the Wednesday. I went in thinking i was going to run rings round them all and destroy them. I was s****. i couldn?t react quickly, i was the slowest person the pitch. My legs just didn?t have any energy. people were moaning at me because they thought i couldn?t be arsed. but they were wrong. i could be @rsed. i had been looking forward to the match all week. the point i am making is that your booing of the players (which is disgraceful) is based on your opinion that players couldn?t be bothered. And yet you go to the extreme lengths of boing players. You need to be pretty dam sure that you are right about the players to boo them for it to be even remotely justified. And you appear to be the only person who thinks you are justified. Can all those people who disagree with you be wrong? Since that week were i went from being man of the match in a competitive game, to the worst player on the pitch in a knock about, i have appreciated that professional sportsmen can not be 100% on top of there performance every week. My example was only running. Add in a technical sport like footy, then add in form, tactics, positional play etc, and you only need to be a few % of your peak fitness before your game suffers hugely. I saw crouch have a t*** of a game on Saturday. He tried hard, he could be 'rsed. but he was not 100%. for that reason he had a stinker. And then for him to come of the pitch and here people booing him, how did you think he must feel? Will that improve his performance in the next match? Will his confidence (which is vital to football) make a sudden leap upwards? What do you think?
  23. have you ever played professional sport?
  24. i agree with that
