  1. thats a load of b******s. a few years ago you would have got t***tted if it were in the kop. the lad in front of me got a few mouthfus for moaning through the game. two years ago i saw him have a head to head with the guy infront of becuase of his fooking moaning. there was a lad last year got a smack for screaming everytime the we lost possession. "through your fooking wallet" he used to scream. funny, i have never heard him moan since. all of which is perfecly fair in my book, and the same goes for booing.
  2. they did, especially riise in teh second half. he bacame an attacking threat.
  3. 1) wrong riise went forward to try and close down a player leaving a guy behind him in achers of space. a simple pass and they had exposed our back three because riise was now near the halfway line. 2) Sami made one mistake as far as i could tell. the second have incident when the sun was clearly in his eyes and blackburn nearly scorred. apart from that i though he had a very good game. nobody got past him
  4. thanks mate. if its your site, thank you even more.
  5. i noticed this also. i said to my mate, everytime crouch got the ball there were3 players on on him, in front and behind, and another one trying to knock him over. and i everytime pennant got the ball, there two -3 players on him. what surprised me is that this was plainly obvious. and yet everytime we attacked in teh first half it went down our right. riise played badly in the first half, althoug he improved in the second. but, for me the game was crying out for gonzales to come in on the right. they wouldnt have enough players to mark 3players out of the game. what i found very surprising is that we only made one sub. i couldnt understand that one. i noticed that rafa had been calling for greater deffensive stregnth before the game and in the first half and even the second not one of our full backs were overlapping. a coincidence? perhaps not. lets give up hope shall we. were all doomed.
  6. i have been searching for a site that will tell me the years we played manure and the scores and scorers. i will then be able to work out the year of my first match i went to as youg kid. can anyone help?
  7. speedy has impressed me. i couldnt beleive he never got on the pitch yesterday. plus, we know that bellamy will come good.
  8. he aint average. he is a very good player, but one who is unlikely to be truly great. he has a valued role in the team
  9. i agree he will still come good and i agree with the tunnel vision, whichi i beleive is a direct consequence of his confidence ie trying to do to much instead of the simple things.
  10. aye, he had a bad game. maybe he was trying to hard?
  11. i was in the kop, and from where i was stood, there were two brilliant crossed balls from my left that went straight across the face of goal, he seemed to stop and watch. he aint clinical, and he doesnt anticipate things that will happen, ( which is what all great goalscorers have) but on his day he is a very important member of the team. today though, he was poor. he did look wasted from the internationals, and i hope that was the reason why he didnt play well. the next game he can put it right after some rest.
  12. he was sh ite today. he looked exhausted or at least i hope he was after todays performance.

  15. the process of payments into court is not a ridiculous one, it prevents frivolous claims. like i said, the devil is in detail with these matters. Reebok will have been warned that we are proceeding, so they must beleive there defence has merrits. We know very little of there defence so it will be silly to dismis it.
  16. like all these things, the devil is in detail. we know very little about it apart from a couple of sentences.
  17. have you seen the particulars of claim and defence? if so, can you email them to me? pretty please?
  18. I agree entirely with this. I do beleive that investment may not be in our best interest. Granada bought 50% of the new liverpool fc.tv, in return then got 50% of the profits. THe only reason why we joined with them was to tap into there konweldge of promotion. The point is though, they receive 50% of the profits becuase they have a stake in that company. We have a chairman we generally like, much better than others, the same with the cheif exec, although not as liked as the chairman. We have strong people at the club looking after out interests, whos aim is ensure "liverpool football club sole aim is to win trophies". why have a partner who will be taking out of our club money that we will be ours in full when the loan payments are finished? We are competing now, and yet we are about to explode in sponsorship over the next couple years plus TV money, plus extra revenue from the stadium, thus ensuring we are competing even more in the transfer market. lets pay for the stadium with loans and sponsorhip, and then have the full benefit at the end of it. ie no need to share profits with a partner. We dont need investment for the stadium either with a full takeover or with a partner. why should we risk our future in a full take over to someone we dont know, or why should we share our profits with a partner whos only goal is to make money?
  19. i dont understand your argument. you said without investment we will be left behind the others, implying that we couldnt compete with them financially and that the only reason we are where we are is becuase of rafa. I then pointed out that there is only chelsea who outspend us. you then replied that spending money gurantess you nothing. I agree with this statement, but it flies in the face of your opinion that we need money to compete? on one hand you say we need money to compete. I say we compete fine, you say money gurantees you nothing. havnt you just agreed with my argument?
  20. i dont agree. rafa is not the only reason. we outspent manure, newcaslte, spurs and the a*** this year. Rafa is not the only reason. i agree with your second point, however i would say that the stadium was always meant to be self financing. the club have never said that has changed.
  21. we are hardly left behind now are we? even with loans the stadium is projected to increase revenue. and loans will only be for a fixed period of time. If we are selling a percentage of the club, then profit generated on that percentage will leave the club until the person sells his shares. That could a lot more costly that loans in the long term.
  22. do we need investment? we have won the biggest prize in football, we have just won the FA cup, and we are about to win the league. The stadium is self financing, we are about to explode our sponsorhip deals, plus huge more money from TV money. an investor invests for returns. We can fund the stadium by loans and by the profit it generates. The loans will be for a fixed period of time and which we will then recup all the revenue of the new stadium. We wont have to put up with investors taking there share of money. Crack on without investment i say.
