for me, he was a truly awful footballer. utterly s****. but the last month and goal tally has conviced me that maybe there is a footballer hidden deep, deep, down there somewhere. he was and possibly is a total waste of 14m. but, for me, he has convinced me over the last 4 weeks that he should be retained at least until christmas next year. then we can reconsdier.

the standard of our ticket office really is apalling.
-
print and post the tickets from somewhere away from L4. give the clubs the majority of the tickets rather than pompus t***ts who dont support either club turning up with there picnic baskets.

i'm in block l1 row 5. you will reckognise me becuase i'm the one with cruthes after breakin my fooking ankle before the chelsea match. you got yours wednesday morning didnt you via tinternet? i got mine via tinternet in the afternoon. i got mine today, have you still not got yours?? s*** i hope it turns up. look we are all meant to be passionate reds, and when i see and hear media unjustice and my city and club are slated or hung out to dry for the odd pimple on its @rse when nothing gets mentioned about other clubs, then it makes my fooking blood boil. and if you were a passionate red, it would make your blood boil to.

i remember after mikey scored THAT goal against the argies, he said "i bet he is not at liverpool next year" and also, "i have already told (the middlesbrough manager) to make a bid for him. a reasonably good player, and its nice to hear him say kind words, but he is a t1t sometimes.

i remember the roma match at anfield when they beat us 1-0, but we went through 2-1. i was in the lower centenary. I rememebr watching the itias thinking to myself that that was the best defence i had ever seen. so much work was done off the ball to make sure the oppisition didnt get a touch, legal and ilegal. but they did it in such a way that the ref would never notice. brilliant defending of the highest order. and then the rematch at anfield. the same defenders played for roma, and i must say that emile absolutely destroyed them. it was probably the most complete central forward display i have ever seen. he fully deserved the noise from the kop that he and the team received. however the following week, he was piss poor again. and then teh week after that, and then the week after that, and so on. one game in 10 is not good enough to play for liverpool

i remember in 96 i was playing footy for stoneycroft on queens drive.liverpool had qualified for the final and the club were GIVEN a ticket by the FA. WHY?????????????????????????????????? how many die hards would have bit there hands off for that tickent but couldnt get a ticket? i had an ST and was unlucky enough to go anyway.
-
King kenny sumed it up after celtic had beaten us at anfield. He said that emile is has twice the ability hartson has. But if you dont have the mental strenght to play in big games, then you are not good enough to play for liverpool. i agree with him.

thanks for that, i will get onto it now.

i thought as much. thanks

i plan on getting my ticket online. did it give you a chance to buy disabled tickets or assisted seats? thanks
-
i broke my ankle outside old toilet before the kick off of the semi final. I am in plaster for another 4 fooking weeks. My mates are staying down in a hotel on the friday but there is no chance i can make it. one wet floor in a pub and i'm a gonna. I will have to go down on a coach by myself, meet up with mates befoe the game and then into the stadium by myself. I am hoping to get one of those assistance seats, but i think there are only 20, plus i'm a kop ST with 2 games, so my ticket doesnt go on sale until thursday. by which time all the assisted seats will have gone. My only hope is to get a ticket in the lower tier no an end. does anyone know how much these are?

thanks

the league atmosphere has been pretty apalling this year. but, would it still have been the same if we were going for a title? is suspect not. perhpas 1st is 1st and 3rd is nowhere is accepted by the fans. i fully expect next season anfield to be rocking during the league games, as no doubt we will be going for the title.

where heading off into mancs town for some food before heading to the pub. I remember sam platts against villa, the pub locked its doors after a short time due to the number of people trying to get in. I think 30k other fans are going to have the same idea about sam platts. is anyone going into town before hand? there are about 17 of us going.

my ticket is tier 1 north stand, block n1405. row JJ, can anyone give any clues where this is approx? Many thanks in advance.

the positive point aside from the rumours is that the stadium is still on the agenda. if you have know news for 2 years, and we are kept in the dark over such a long period of time, then the fact that the plans have been resubmitted means that it is still a plan that the club have in mind.

i think he would. ES, dont get worked up by the thread. I'm sure its all tongue in cheek

Did Rafa treat his first Merseyside derby with contempt?
allez les rouges replied to Benitez 's topic in Liverpool FC
he did not treat it with contempt, but gave everton to much respect. alonso was not the pressing ball winning midfielder that he now is. Rafa was astute enough to know that the second ball from the strikers to on running midfields would be very telling tactically. for this reason he played a ball winning midfielder how would not be out muscled. he was naive on the basis that if he had chosen his team to play the way we wanted ie with alonso, then maybe we would have got a better result. But also this is with hindsight, and without doubt he has learnt very quickly and is more experienced in the english league now. -
i thought she was the only one at our club who answers the phone.

Now that our strikers have scored apart from Djibs
allez les rouges replied to a topic in Liverpool FC
football changes so fast. if cisse, and nando start producing until the end of the season, then yes there seems little point of selling in the summer. for the time being, Crouch has a stay of execution. ufortunately and i hope i am wrong, i do not think nando and cisse can cut it in english football. -
