one of the fellas at work is a huge wolves fan and he told me about an interesting way they sell tickets en bloc (alluding to what kev i think has stated earlier). he has a fancard and at the beginning of the season he was able to buy a whole block of games for a set price. I think the block he purchased were something like Liverpool, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Stoke City, Blackpool and Blackburn. There are other blocks of games available but they are all pre-set meaning you cant mix and match (you have to have the block and thats it). The block of tickets all price each ticket at £50 each - meaning you pay the same price for even the s**** games but at the same time you are going to watch a local derby and two decent sides in the same block and they are the same price meaning it all balances it out. In some ways its a mini season ticket if you will - surely something like this would attract more fans to any new ground also? Its shocking that we are behind teams like even wolves when dealing with the ease of buying tickets and so on.
