If they wanted us that badly I am sure they would have pulled their fingers out of their arses earlier to get us. To use the mars bar analogy you used - I agree they are not stupid but if you had £100 in your pocket and there was only one mars bar left to buy in the world and you wanted it, you wouldn't mind paying the £3.60 would you?

If the Chinese really wanted to buythe club they would have done. The only other bid on the table was the Lim bid as far as we are aware. The Chinese could have blown everyone out of the water even on the day it is said NESV were in court with us - why didn't they?

given we are teetering as it is (no CL football and squad needing some top class additions) then to pile debt on us would be the end IMO and would not make sense.
