it's cos we defend with the ball. The opposition never have it apart from the restarts after we score. Why bother practising defending -
I think Borini was key to a load of this. A striker who plays wide like Villa in his Barca incarnation or Kuyt. That's meant to be the person Suarez is passing to. if you take suarez out of the middle he gets less touches I didn't want him at the start middle or end of the transfer window

It was the downward curve that did for him. As far as the league went there was an amazing first 6 months with great footy and the results to match, then it was good footy with mixed results and then it was rubbish. The other way round and he's still here if he managed to keep the job after the first 6 months.

I think they'd listen to Mourinho/Ferguson Well yeah but I'm thinking about the bits where it doesn't go too great and then they might think "this is a bit sh*t" and there's nothing he can point to and say "see, I did this and I won. who else wants to win" -

That graph is the sh!ttest thing ever If you're a top player playing for Rodgers why would you feel you had to listen to him other than the obvious of he's your boss -

that's the first one I described. His head's gone. He looks awful. When he first arrived he was really good but he was on a knife edge. It felt like the things that made him so good could see him cost us. I'm talking about the desire to engage physically and holding on to the ball. These look like flaws in his game now

He can hit the ball up the line which curls into the path of someone and the crossfield ball from LB which isn't massively dissimilar to the one today. He's filled with rubbishness though

I chage my mind on this loads but here's my latest thoughts. He'll score the goals so we have to leave him central especially as he gets more ball there. I can see the logic in Borini as he's a goalscorer who'll stay wide and still score the scruffy strikers' goals

I think your right about his quality of football ultimately being the thing that will get people off this panto villain thing. Even the commentators during that 2nd half were just going on about him. The Soccer Satuday people seem to like him but that may be due to Thommo not giving them a choice
