I don't think it will be harder emotionally as the journey he's taken to get there means that all avanues for coming here were exhausted. It will be harder to beat them as he's incredible but it won't be more difficult then when Mourinho was there as he is probably the best in the world. Having said that our manager back then was one of the best in the world so it was more level. Plus we hadn't been drained emotionally and financially. I didn't struggle wanting us to beat Blackburn and Newcastle in the early-late 90s. Their gaffer didn't have a problem seeing us get beaten by them either

Don't get me wrong. I love rafa and I'm more in the camp of him being on a hiding to nothing. I can see why he'd want it though. I just don't see the need to justify his performance for chelsea or even Inter. It's an irrelevance and I don't care. I'm not going to be able to convince myself that BR is a better manager just because he is our manager. Same way I think Messi is better than Suarez. Aren't there a load more downsides. The fans don't like him, the owner wants Guardiola, he can't win in the EC. He's waited this long and he has his pride. This could finish him. Do you think that because he has waited this long he cannot afford to wait longer they've only looked poor for about 4 games
