    There's nothing wrong with saying "we're playing badly" but it's the mad rush to judge everything on a game that hasn't even finished yet .

    Thought he was pretty poor for large parts. lost posession loads and didn't beat anyone. He maybe hasn't develpoed the power in his body to match his pace to really attack people. He still managed to almost score two and set up one. Takes up intelligent positions in midfield to receive the ball and will look to turn when he does instead of just lay it off

    I'm struggling to express it in percentage terms I know that someone in there doing it awfully would negate it's use and create a bigger problem but that's the same for a stand in keeper or for getting someone in to replace Suarez. I think the role holds intrinsic value and that if you get someone in who can do a passable Lucas impression then we are stronger than having more talented players without the balance.

    Like I said goals come first from where we are but Lucas cover is hugely important to actually get the team functioning correctly. His position in this system lets other things happen

    yeah. I mean the thought of actually watching the team you support play at home seems like a bit of a drag.

    I agree we need goals first but look at how we struggled with Lucas out. We lose goals because our other 2 midfielders can't push on

    yep I think that we don't sign sahin or sell Henderson and bring in cover for Lucas to rebalance the midfield

    Last season you battered us with thesis after thesis about how we're one club and should stick together and back the manager and so on and so on and so on. We were getting worse and worse. If you believe a word of what you said last season then let's see that prose of yours put to good effect this season with you arguing that black is white and white is black as you did to such stunning effect last season. sammya

    We were really really bad second half of last season. Like really really bad. I didn't want him sacked but we were really really really really bad. You're characterising people as c*nts but it was the football that was really really bad. Cheaper than Alba, Pique and Fabregas. See. Well good decision.

    You don't need a goalscorer for those chances from 3 yards anyway. But even in the last few games against Newcastle, Chelsea, Wigan, Young boys and today we have missed really presentable our chances. Not having your best options in the front 3 being a LB and a 17 year old will lead to more good chances being created anyway
