That middle spell in that second half was what I've been looking for in terms of possession and pressing. It was mostly lead by Henderson. He can be pleased with today. hopefully doesn't go into his shell after the miss. Rodgers has all kinds of positive things to say about Henderson when he first came in

I think you have to measure in terms of chance creation as opposed to assists He's 17 so he'll get bigger and stronger. On his overall development, it's infinitely more likely he'll be a Pedro than a Messi. Which is a fine level.

I think he's had intelligent end play decisions from the off in terms of assists. This was where he needed to show more of himself. He has this in his armoury

First half was poor and I thought that Wigan were set up better as they were doing more of what they were meant to do. Second half and the goal makes a big difference ans does Henderson. Congrats to Jose. I thought he looked lost first half but he really turned it around spectacularly. Having a goalscorer makes a massive difference as it really turns games and you can build from there. Well done to Sterling for improving as well. I'm off to bum Suarez.
