Owen was world class for us and brought alot to the club - don't forget that and don't compare him to Ince. Owen fuvked off on a free but we didn't pay for him anyway.

Why are we only getting £5m for Arebeloa when we paid approx 3.5m. If those clowns at real paid around £20mill for Ramos a few years back surely we can get a better price now they are minted - he is only 26. For Xabi I would be very happy if we can get 35mill - I think it would be a very good deal for the club. I'm sure Rafa and other senior coaching staff have a number of targets in mind to replace him.

Ehhhh - its totally different. The brochure talks about things like brand values and tabloid myths!! Its bizarre and desperate and I'm surprised he agreed to it. He is completely overrated which doesn't mean he is crap but he is not at the top table of the worlds best players. He may be very well paid but don't Inter have a history of paying crazy money to / for average players? Remember the likes of Recoba / Shalimov etc. Did they pick him him up on the cheap from Juve? Couldn't disagree more - despite being the Kings club etc they are one of the true giants of world football. Just because they are run in a certain way doesn't mean they are "ham-fisted attempt at a real club". Its the norm on the continent - do you think its all sweetness and light at Barca when they are in the doldrums? You could say the same above about Inter, Milan and Juve. Are they not real clubs? If you had subsituted the word Chelsea for Real you may have had some sort of point.

he is overrated. He should be remebered as a very good right midfielder for his time. Due to the hype and media bullsh!t he will be remembered as a great player across many generations. Its just wrong.

I've been 'nominated' by mates to sort out a weekend trip to Madrid to watch Real. Happening in early novemeber but does anyone know where I can find the list of televised games - i've had a look around and all the games are on the sunday evening but there is normally 1or 2 moved to Saturday? I've searched but maybe there onkly sorted out a few weeks before hand??
