Well that's true, but he still has a great agent. How many other stars of French football are around? But in reality, it's not that hard to see why he gets picked for these commercials. He's a very colorful character as far as football players go (hair, tattoos, sense of "style"), and he maitains a fairly clean cut image off the pitch. That's what gets him his contracts. Otherwise Pauleta and Juninho would be in the commercial too.

Is he popular with the other players mate? Never sure, sometimes he seems like he's Mr. Popular, sometimes it seems like thye are giving him the cold shoulder!

At the same time though, most who have criticised him have admitted he would get 20+ in france again he just isn't good enough for Liverpool or our league.

 

My argument is that he would get 20+ a season for us if we played to his strengths and let his style dictate our play and if he goes to a team where they'll do that (like Auxerre did) he'll get shed loads. Thank God we don't do that though because our style of play would be s**** and we wouldn't get many goals from anywhere else aswell as his goals.
