Will Sol be going to the World Cup?

Sol Campbell must be carrying an injury..... Been a while since I've seen a top class player in such poor form!

He didn't even wait at the ground for the second half of Arsenals game last night after being replaced by a kid.

Arsene excused him due to his mental state at the moment or some lame excuse.....

Sven couldn't have helped but notice him last night too as he was at the game. With the quality of English centre halves currently to choose from I expect Sol has gone way down the pecking order.

He's just not at all right at the moment. God knows what happened to him. England could certainly use his experience if he sorts himself out, but it looks like time's running out. They're not exactly short of options at centre back are they?

and talking of Arsenal centre halves, Tony Adams has reportedly left Utrecht already. That went well then.

I'm not sure that is a lame excuse. He's been awful recently. His head's f*cked

either that or he's hit the wall and aint coming back - happened to Kevin Radcliffe and Des Walker.

I've rated him as THE top centre back in the premiership for a long time now but his current form is dreadful and if it continues he has to be doubtful of making the WC, simply cos Wenger wont play him if he continues like that.

Terry, Ferdinand and Carra are certainties. There'll either be one or two more, depending on number of full backs and central midfielders taken. Could see him possibly gambling on 3 specialist full backs with Carra as LB cover, which would free up more midfield options. Depends on whether he sees King as a serious option for the holding role.

I see G Neville, Young, A Cole, Carra, Terry, Ferdinand, King plus one of Woodgate/Campbell/Bridge. Campbell's probably last in line of those three as it stands.

I'm not sure Carra's a certainty.

He should be but I'm not sure he is.

he is by virtue of the fact he covers every defensive position

Hope you're right, it'd be a f*cking disgrace if he were left at home.
