Zidane against Denmark in Euro 2000. He took the piss out of us that day (and generally throughout the tournament).

 

Keane against juve in 99.

 

Effenberg in their 4-1 win over Madrid (CL quarters?).

 

Ronaldinho against Real this season.

The entire Barca team at Anfield for that 3-1 game.

 

Ronaldo (proper one) against United at Old Trafford, scored a hattrick.

 

Bergkamp against Leicester, scored a hattrick.

 

Bergkamp in, I think it was France 98, or Euro 2000, for Holland scored a phenomenal goal in one game and just look head and shoulders above everyone else on the pitch.

Hate to say it, but Keane against Juve 1999.

 

His performance against Holland in the qualifier when McAteer scored when they won 1-0 was immense too.

Henry at highbury v us on good friday a few years back, totally unplayable.

 

I thought he was better in the 2-2 a couple of years before, when Heskey equalised in the last minute. We were run ragged by Henry, Vieira, Pires and Bergkamp all night.

Bin Man for Wales against Holland. We lost 7-1 but it could've been double that if it wasn;t for Southall. Immense he was, fair play.

Smith vs Liverpool 2004. I've never been so relieved to see a player go off and i virtually never notice the opposition

Rivaldo for Barca against Valencia a few years back on the final day of the season.

 

Re that Barca team at Anfield when they won 3-1, they really were only brilliant for the last twenty minutes or so (after they got the 2nd). Game could have gone either way at 1-1 and we had a very good chance to go back into the lead.

I know it sounds stupid but everything that happens on a pitch in my biased mind is cos a Liverpool player did something good or a Liverpool player f*cked up. We either played well or shyte. The XI who we're facing had no bearing on that ;)
