Scott Carson will make his Liverpool FA Cup debut against Luton Town this evening after Rafa Benitez opted to rest Pepe Reina for this 3rd Round clash at Kenilworth Road.

The Reds will be hoping to avoid another 3rd Round exit after defeat at Burnley last season and Rafa has named a strong side that includes Captain Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher.

 

Carson hasn't started a game since the League Cup defeat at Crystal Palace, but he gets the nod today as Liverpool start out on the FA Cup road.
