Gethin Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Tough away game - they've drawn with Arsenal and beaten Chelsea so there's quality there. They're up to 7th but there's only 5 points between United in 6th and Brighton in 13th TAA, Matip and Gomez out. Be interesting to see if Clyne keeps his place or whether Milner takes it if he's fit enough to play. Otherwise I'd be expecting a similar starting line up to United Game's on Sky
Hightown Phil Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Not expecting this to be quite as hard as people think. Chelsea absolutely battered then the other week and were very unlucky and Spurs raced in to a 3-0 lead recently too. Sounds weird but I'm happier going to a team like this when they've won three on the bounce as opposed to them being a bit out of form. Take Burnley the other week, they wanted to put stuff right and went in harder. If Wolves lose this no one on their side will be asking questions and maybe that filters down to their players' subconscious. Particularly with them having a very winnable game at Fulham on Boxing Day. I'll guess at Alisson, Milner, Lovren, van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Fabinho, Keita, Mane, Salah, Firmino.
Gethin Posted December 19, 2018 Author Posted December 19, 2018 I'd keep Clyne in 2 games in 6 days after so long out is a big ask. Guess it depends on how fit Milner is
Conrad Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 I think the days of Klopp asking Milner to play RB are overClyne will start I think In fact, i hope its exactly the same team as started the last one
Jarg Armani Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 I think I’d go Milner but won’t be surprised or mega worried if it’s clyne. I think it will be a bit of a bournemouth esque game so I expect a similar team, and fingers crossed a similar mo turns up.
Hightown Phil Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Shaqiri? Would quite happily never see him start a game of football ever again tbh.

Hightown Phil Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 I think he plays Milner there Friday solely to avoid potentially 3 games on the bounce of Clyne. Clyne was absolutely b******sed on Sunday from about 60.
Gunga Din Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 from what ive seen of Wolves, they play a lot on the counter, and have been awkward to play against. but our forward line is slowly but surely starting to find some form and i'd hope we will get an early goal and force them to come out and have a go
Cobs Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 at some point we have to drop points (and this fixture has already proved to be a tricky away for City/Chelsea) but I really hope it's not here or v Newcastleor v Arsenal but winning all 4 over Christmas/NY is always a bit of a tall order If we can come out of the City game in early Jan ahead of them that would be fantastic

Cobs Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 if we win our next 4 i reckon we will win the league it'd give us at least a 4 point lead, with 17 to play which'd be nice
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 just looking at the table - it's madness that Spurs have lost 4 and are only 6 points behind us. Yeah, I know how 3pts for a win works. It's equally mad that ManU have conceded more than Huddersfield who are 2nd bottom; in fact more than anyone except Fulham, Burnley, Cardiff & Southampton
Ombudsam Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 if we win our next 4 i reckon we will win the leagueI know right. But anyway Wolves is the focus. I just want to do what City and Chelsea didn’t.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 and there we have it... Dejan Lovren believes that Liverpool can emulate Arsenal’s Invincibles and remain unbeaten for the remainder of the Premier League season.Liverpool sit one point clear at the top of the table after Sunday’s 3-1 win over Manchester United and are the only top-flight team that is yet to suffer defeat.Only two sides in the history of top-flight English football have gone a whole campaign unbeaten – Preston North End in 1888-89 and Arsenal in 2003-04. Lovren believes that becoming the third will be a challenge for Liverpool, yet sees no reason why he and his team-mates cannot do it. “It’s a good result I would say for us,” the centre-back said after Sunday’s win. “Hopefully we can be unbeaten until the end of the season.
Cam Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Fecking hell Lovren. *fires up SkyBet app, puts all £4.18 on Wolves*
LicK Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Why can't he keep his bloody mouth shut? Every time.
Cobs Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Fecking hell Lovren. *fires up SkyBet app, puts all £4.18 on Wolves* haha - and it'll be him giving away a penalty or nutting it into his own net that does it
