13 Goals in 13 Games

Only 3 teams have scored fewer goals than us this season, Wigan, West Ham and Sunderland.

Watching us play, with the exception of the Chelsea game, has been painful and boring.

Slow, laborious play that allows the opposition to get back and negative tactics at every opportunity.

I watched the Barcelona game this afternoon and seeing them zip the ball around, pass and move into space, never stop running was a joy to watch and made our performance earlier today look like something from a 4th division pub team.

It's criminal what this guy has done to our club.

So much for the impetus from the takeover.

One of those outplayed us too, if you recall.

He's the most negative manager I can ever remember seeing in football, theres plenty of other negative managers out there like Mancini but as far as ive seen they dont actually encourage the opposition to dominate the ball. Getting completely outclassed football wise by a team who dont even try and play football is just some sort of sick joke.

how many of those 13 have come from open play?

Ngog vs Arsenal - open play

Torres vs West Brom - open play

Gerrard x 2 vs United were set pieces

Gerrard & Kuyt vs Sunderland - open play although you could argue the Kuyt goal wasn't

Kyriagkos vs Blackpool - header from a set piece

Kyriagkos vs Blackburn - header from a set piece

Torres vs Blackburn - open play

Maxi vs Bolton - open play

Torres x2 vs Chelsea - open play

Torres vs Wigan - open play

So 9 from open play if you count Kuyt's against Sunderland

no, but i think its a pretty damning statement about our style of football recently away from home. and that goes back 12 months, not just this season

2 Premiership away wins in 2010 and it's one all - Rafa at Burnley and Roy at Bolton.

Will Roy take the lead ?

Will Roy be here to take the lead ?

Will Roy know how to take the lead ?
