I'd rather we don't bother. I know it's not the stance of a proper fan but the pain of watching us playing in Slovenia on Channel 5 whislt the mancs play Barca on Sky is just too much to bear.Once you get to the last eight it's great but the early rounds can be dire (I watched us play Slovan Liberec and remembered how it was symbolic it was of how far we'd fallen) and the stress on our already meagre resources means I'd sooner come last and concentrate on getting into the top 4.

IF we have to go into this, and its six games gurenteed, i really hope rafa plays the kids, and leaves his first choice 11 for the league.

It's only 2 games guaranteed - home and away legs of the round of 32.

The night the Mancs were beating Juventus away in the semi finals of the European Cup we were beaten 1-0 by leicester at Anfield. Now that's a low point right there.

The pain of that made everything else insignificant mate. Keane scored, my mate a West ham fan texted me 'These c*nts are going to do it, f*ck!'. Things like that stay with you. Feckers.

Desperate feckin Dan. Useless big lump of cack, one good memory from the Leicester games, although I had the raving hump at the time, was that other big useless palooka Matt Elliott smashing the Welsh midget in the gob with his elbow, I wonder if it's on You Tube?

If we are in it we go and win the f***ing thing, we can rest players if the tie allows, if we have to play a full team then we do it. We'd be playing a full team in CL matches so dont see what difference it makes. I want to win a trophy. And beating Bayern Munich in Hamburg in may is going to be f***ing great.

 

If we go out of the CL that is.

F*cking hell, are we really that good we can treat the UEFA Cup like the Carling?

 

We'd have a great chance of winning it, and haven't won anything for a few years now. I'd be playing a full strength side.

When we dropped into it last time the players acted like nobheads, clearly not happy to be on channel 5.

 

Hope they're a bit more 'pumped' this time.

 

During 'that time' i was always abit more snobby if channel 5 knocked on the door

Couldnt even be bothered to politely decline an interview

'Er excuse me i just said no to CNN' i was always tempted to say

 

I reckon they'll be up for it though. Many of them have never won anything
