Notts to face Forest, Liverpool and Derby in pre-season

NOTTS County will play Nottingham Forest, Liverpool and Derby County during their pre-season build-up.

 

The Magpies will face the Reds, the Rams and a young XI from the Premiership side at Meadow Lane in July.

 

Billy Davies' Forest will cross the Trent on Saturday July 25 (3pm), Derby visit on Tuesday July 28 (7:45pm) and the game against Liverpool XI will take place on Friday July 31 (7:45pm).

 

"All three games will be good work-outs for us before the new season, I'm very sure of that," said Magpies boss Ian McParland.

 

"We're grateful to all the teams that they've agreed to visit us and I'm confident these matches, along with our pre-season training programme, will have us in good shape for the start of the new season."
