I don't remember that, I think he just turned round and shook Sammy Lees hand.

Yeah I'd like to see his reaction after the goal and final whistle if it's out there. He was asked about it after the game and he acted like it was a momentary loss of control.

Apparently in the interview he laughed about it, and said he had not seen it on TV yet, here:

However, after Israel international Benayoun grabbed the victory, the former Valencia boss - who uncharacteristically leapt into the air on the final whistle - is in a positive mood as a tense title race gathers pace.

He said: "I haven't seen myself yet but it was a very, very important goal at a crucial time.

looked to me as if he was about to celebrate then suddenly thought 'hold on, i don't do that' and restrained himself

There's nothing that could make Rafa jump in the air with delight; if he didn't do it at the end in Istanbul he never will.

Not Benayoun's late winner, not a £100m transfer budget, not even Alex Ferguson tripping and falling on his face on his way to the dugout at Old Trafford could make his sensible shoes leave the ground in exaltation.

He's just not that type of guy.
