Made me laugh when I saw the headline on Newsnow

Plessis sorry to see Itandje leave Liverpool

tribalfooball.com - August 01, 2008

Damien Plessis admits he's disappointed fellow Frenchman Charles Itandje is leaving Liverpool.

The goalkeeper is eager to make a move away from Anfield, but Plessis says: "It's disappointing. He is going to leave soon and that's a pity."

LOL its not a pity at all. he's gash, the worst keeper we have ever had.

Did you not catch Padelli's performance against Charlton then ?

I'd love to see a union formed of French ex-reds. Maybe chaired by Vignal.

Since the assignment of GH we've had a whole bunch of French players at the club now. Could anyone of them be considered something of a success?

Sinama or Traore are probably the best of the bunch considering they helped us to win the CL

Luzi??

Luzi did the business at Stamford Bridge when Cheyrou scored - that absolves him.

Edit His reward ? To be be stuck back on the bench as Gerry got Paul Jones on temporary loan :D

Itandje has made a couple of good saves - Padelli was far, far worse.

*Cough* Peggy *cough*

dont be ridiculous. Peggy was 10 times the keeper charlie was. the fact that Peggy wasnt afraid of the ball gives him a head start straight away

Do you remember after he got in goal that night? He was everywhere but not always in the right way.

I recall a Chelsea corner where there was just panic in our defence to get rid of the ball.

I remember he made a great save and then minutes later, flapped at a corner/cross and their player headed the ball off our bar

We still talking about the warm up? ;)

Have to say though, I reckon Padelli is the clear winner.
