Cant view YouTube in work and was p!$$ed when I saw the RTE coverage at about 1am last night - just remember the Dunph saying "This is analysis Liam, let us analyse the game" - basically telling Brady to stop being so emotional and to let himself and Souness analyse the game - en-ter-tain-MENT !!!

What you don't see on that clip is when the clip was shown, Dunphy was pissing himself throughout whilst Brady was shouting over it - 'Diabolical, that was in the can, it's a set-up!!'

Apparently Brady had a strop during the ad break after the whole video clip incident, threw his microphone on the table and walked out. The producers had to coax him back in but it now looks like his days of appearing in the RTE studio are over.

it`d be a shame to lose Brady over this,. and if he doesnt appear on RTE, then he`s a petty child, sure Giles and dunphy argue all the time, and they still come back, im sure Brady will be back

 

but it is the best punditry around, and Souness is a cracking addition to the panel, i bloody love watching footy on RTe, honest, no bullshut, no agenda punditry, not like sky, or that other t*** hole ITV

 

did anyone see the late night highlights on ITV last night? robbie Earle showed a montage, on how Steven Gerrard "changed the game in favour of liverpool" yet Gerrard, admitted himself he had a f***ign stinker, crap analysis

they basically showed a clip, of wenger from the 2 games at the emirates, and last nights match, where he`s freaking out on the touchline, and dunphy said he looked like John Cleese, obviously, the clip had been premade, and Brady wasnt happy about this saying that they where trying to portray that Wenger was losing the plot, Dunphy then laid into Brady, it was comical

 

you cant see it clearly, because of the quality of the picture on youtube, but Dunphy was hiding the laughter in, while Brady was throwing a strop, it was brilliant, nearly better than the match, and the match was great as well

It's not the best punditry at all. It has its entertaining moments but it is completely agenda driven nonsense a lot of the time. Dunphy decides about October every year who is good and who isn't and that's that for the season, Brady only likes teams that play 'good football' and has a very select view as to what that actually means. They actually offer very, very little insight into tactics or anaylsis of anything other than the big incidents.

 

In short the football is irrelevant to them. It's basically just a device that lets them get on television and spout occasionally entertaining, inflammatory spiel.

Dunphy quite articulate and brings his point across in an inamated manner (although the points themselves are often rubbish)

I wish I had an RTE aerial, cos those Sky barstewards switch off any sport on their 162/163 RTE channels.

Brady should have been kicked after his disgraceful co-commentary in the first leg. He was inconsolable after the was it a pen incident. Souness was great from a red point of view last night but did give some honest opinion, Brady just couldnt see past his Arsenal ties.

Once Dunphy realised he had Brady on the hook he reeled him in beautifully and delighted in doing so, it was great
