I don't why anyone thinks Torres will walk if Rafa goes. I can certainly see Masch leaving and there is a miniscule chance Stevie might finally have lost patience but I don't see why Torres will want to go.

 

If Rafa leaves he will be replaced Mourinho/O'Neill or such like. Torres moved to LIVERPOOL, not Rafa Benitez. Yes Rafa might have convinced him to sign but it was his ambition to play for a club capable of competing every season which was the deciding factor in my opinion. It all depends on who we get to replace Rafa of course but if it is a TOP manager I am sure Torres will stick around. It's not as if he and Rafa have been buddies for years.

 

He has shown his loyalty by sticking with Athletico for years when he was clearly to good for them.

I don't think he'd want out straight away by any means. But it would be daft not to think that a Spanish manager and several Spanish players helped him to the decision that we would be the particular 'bigger' club he chose.

 

His loyalty to Atletico surly had a lot to do with him growing up there too. No real reason to believe h'd show the same loyalty to another club in another country.
