familiar old feeling,isn't it? Even for those of us who remember the last title.

 

wouldn't you just love to have the belief, even in such a young team, that their fans have in their side that they have what it takes. Or the belief that their manager really really gets it.

This current Arsenal team are about to hit a blip I think. They just don't have the players for the long haul at all. I know everyone raves about them and I've loved their football too but under the surface they are very thin and I think between now and March they'll fall away.

Sadly, it's only forum posters, phone-in callers, taxi drivers, hairdressers and a tiny handful of professional football managers who actually 'get it'.

Agree. i think they will be 15 points plus clear by the end (unless they drop a few at the end if they stillhave CL or FAC to play for).

We may actually sneek back into the mix for second, as I can see the two London clubs also dropping loads of points)

this has been a wierd season so far, I still think we have a chance of winning it (or at least overtaking arsenal/ chelsea or both)

stop playing mind games, they might as well just hand you the title now, you will probably go undefeated for the rest of the season

You see I struggle with that

 

The Arsenal squad is young athletic and talented, they play a slick pass and move game beautifully structured by Wenger and a brand of football which is genuinely exciting. Most of all its emerging talent crafted from their youth development programs and this season they do seem a bit more solid against the grunts of the lower mid table

 

Chelsea play functional, effective football, structured to grind out results at any cost. Ruthless, professional but lacking any romance at all. Talent purchased by cheque book.

 

Personal loyalties prevent me from celebrating them winning the league but of the current top three Arsenal are easily the least worst option
