windy city red Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Torres probably stole the show today but I am getting more and more impressed with Benayoun. His intelligent use of the ball, ball control and running pace with the ball is fantastic and his no-look pass to torres for his second shot on goal reminded me alot of Garcia. With pennant injured, I hope to see him feature more in the coming months.
alias75 Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Hes a clever player with a good football brain and good technique we need a few more with similar attributes.
charlie clown Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 know what you mean with the Garcia comparison but for me he is the player that Luis should have been in athat he is very hard to get the ball off when he makes his mind up that he is going to run with it and he often makes much better choices about what to do with it. But he does have that same unpredictability and technical quality.
Swipe Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Excellent player. Hopefully Rafa has now decided he should be in the first team for most games. Good technique and goal threat. Great at putting players straight through on goal as well
Mike Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 i like him, he seemed hell bent on playing hospital passes tonight though
Guest RedIsMyColour Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 He's really fitting in the side now and getting involved. 5 goals already and always looks threatening.

Pennants going to have to raise his game - and this time its goals that count
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 I always rated him, but he's looking to have a lot more potential than I credited him with

Mike Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 I think he was anonymous today.i wish you f***ing were
Cunny Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 I thought he had another good game and along with Voronin was our most creative player.
Guest Kaizer Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 (edited) i wish you f***ing were So you think he had a good game today then? I`m not saying he did much wrong, but he did not really get involved even if we srtriggled on the left today where Riise had a poor game. Edited November 10, 2007 by Kaizer
BG Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 (edited) I think he was anonymous today. Where did you qualify as a coach again? Sounds like a really good place to learn about the game... Edited November 10, 2007 by BG

You really are wrong about nearly everything to do with football, aren't you?
Elisha_Scott Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Benayoun is quality, he has a groin strain and will miss the Russia game for Israel
Maldini Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Benayoun is quality, he has a groin strain and will miss the Russia game for Israel Seriously? mockertastic
RafaShanks Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Benayoun is quality, he has a groin strain and will miss the Russia game for Israel
Cam Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 I'm getting that Jan Molby, Steve McMahon feelingYep, it's Yossi's huge belly and his ferocious tackling. "Benny NooneBenny NooneBenny Benny NoonePleat got it wrongSo here's his songBenny Benny Noone"
Zoob Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Benayoun is quality, he has a groin strain and will miss the Russia game for Israel I hope he's back in a couple of weeks, but the fact he's gonna miss the Russia game is just fantastic. I can now very much look forward to not hearing anyone talking about how much they hope Yossi will do England a favour... He is a quality player, because he has good technique and a good football brain. Will sometimes frustrate, but will score and assist lots from midfield if given a good run.
_00_deathscar Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 I always rated him, but he's looking to have a lot more potential than I credited him with Likewise. Oh, and Kaizer you're talking a load of b******s.
