Gomez Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Thinks Rafa would have been sacked had he not been as successful as he has been. Mirror Really Fat Sam? think about what you are saying before you open your big fat f**kin' mouth.
Red_Rob Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Hahahahaha fat f***ing turnip. Who gives a s*** what that inbred cabbage has to say? He'll be down the dole office come the end of the season anyway.
John am Rhein Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 "But he believes Liverpool's league finishes since Benitez arrived - fifth, third and third - would have got him the sack without his exploits in Europe." WTF!?!?! The worst thing about that is he may actually be right.
Alonso Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Thinks Rafa would have been sacked had he not been as successful as he has been. Mirror Really Fat Sam? think about what you are saying before you open your big fat f**kin' mouth. This from the man who can't even get his team to score a goal against Deby!
floyd Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 "But apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh water system, and public health ...What have the Romans ever done for us?"
Rimbeux Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 I think if you look at the context, it's probably a throwawy remark in with many others in a laddy boy mag that wil probably be lifted more and more as the season goes on. I doubt he cares either way and has said similar but less crassly before
Redkop Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Allardyce is a c**k and has made himself look a total idiot with that article.
intense enigma Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Does this mean when Newcastle come to Anfield, we can all chant Bung-kum at that Fat b@stard?
Spike Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 lol, 2 CL finals in three years. How many clubs have achieved that from these shores Fatso?
Ronnie Whelan Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 This interview was with Zoo magazine. How appropriate for the f***ing Hippo.
Stevie H Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 the 'being a foreigner' comment is the silliest. he has either forgotten about or never heard of wnger or mourinho?
So Cal Red Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 "But apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh water system, and public health ...What have the Romans ever done for us?" exactly!
McBain Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Fantastic timing by the paper to carry this now. Just as they slump to defeat to the bottom club. Perfect
Nerik Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Bloody foreign coaches only know how to beat Derby 6-0. You have to know the EPL like the back of your hand to c**k up against Derby and make your club seem like a true reflection of its shirt sponsor.
mally Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 did anyone see the game last night? i thought newcastle got played off the park by a poor derby side. he wants to keep his mouth shut really.
Rimbeux Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 did anyone see the game last night? i thought newcastle got played off the park by a poor derby side. he wants to keep his mouth shut really. Because of course this is what he chose to put in his post match rant
dorgie Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 did anyone see the game last night? i thought newcastle got played off the park by a poor derby side. he wants to keep his mouth shut really. What matter ? Sure don't they have the most loyal fans in the world, isn't that what's important? I hope they slide down the tubes, just like their shirt sponsors.
JohnnyH Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 (edited) lol, 2 CL finals in three years. How many clubs have achieved that from these shores Fatso? Although he is a t**, he is saying that without the 2 CL finals, he would be under pressure/sacked by now. I almost hate fat sam as much as I hate Warnock, however, he is probably not far from wrong on this one. However, Rafa HAS won the CL and reached another Final and has won the FA Cup, so discounting those for the sake of an arguement is just stupid. Rafa has been successfull. If we finish 3rd again this year though I think the pressure will start to build on Rafa, if it has not already started. Edited September 18, 2007 by JohnnyH
Lou Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 All this comes from a man who was behind Steve McClaren in the list of suitable candidates for the England job...enough said
Bigal Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 lol, 2 CL finals in three years. How many clubs have achieved that from these shores Fatso? you missed out the FA cup in the middle of that!
McBain Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 That would have been a goal had it gone in

Rafa has completely rebuilt the squad and only an utter imbecile (step forward Fat Sam) would deny that the club is far better equipped now to challenge for all honours. We may be impatient for glory and our next title but it would be incredibly stupid to get rid of the manager when he has performed wonders in the transfer market at all levels to create his squad and when we are on the verge of a golden era.
Guest Kaizer Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 did anyone see the game last night? i thought newcastle got played off the park by a poor derby side. he wants to keep his mouth shut really. Well a manager that thinks playing Shola Ameobi instead of Obafemi Martins up front when playing with an adventurous midfield with the likes of Butt, Geremi and Smith behind the strikers better shut the f*** up.

I agree. It's the best squad we've had since our last title win. If we finish 3rd or lower this season, then I do still think Rafa will be under pressure next term. The Americans may listen to the press and the fans (read idiots) on the phone ins who start calling for his head. Rafa is the man to bring back the title, however, his insistance on still picking teams like he did on Saturday despite proof showing that it hasn't worked over the last 3 years, could heap the pressure on.
