Dog Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Not many talking about Voronin and when threads get started they tend to fizzle out fairly quickly. I am going to put a bet on him being the premierships highest scorer come end of season. Best LFC freebee for a long time. Feeling very good about the direction the club is heading. Have been feeling better each season Rafa has been in charge but for the first time in years i have a permanent grin when I think of what is happening. Suppose there is plenty of time for it all to go pear shaped but I'll carry on smiling until it does. One Happy Dog.
IgPig Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Be ironic if this thread fizzles out quickly. Which I haven't helped.
Spion kop Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 he wont' be top scorer, he won't play enough games.
Guest Snorky Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Be ironic if this thread fizzles out quickly. Especially if I close it
Guest Kaizer Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 I am a huge Voronin fan, but he will not be top scorer, dont waste your money.
Guest newfavouriteplayer Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 has it fizzled out yet? actually i think he's great too. like what we wanted mad erik to be like.
Guest PaulMcC Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 He looks to be good at everything. A good all round forward.
fyds Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Andriy will get his share - 10-15 maybe...but Torres might be a good bet for top scorer.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Is he essentially the double of Kuyt in terms of what he offers to the team ?
Kite Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Is he essentially the double of Kuyt in terms of what he offers to the team ?No
Rory Fitzgerald Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 No I can see a very clear distinction between Torres, Kuyt and Crouch. The waters get a bit muddied when I look for clear differences between Kuyt and Voronin. Perhaps Voronin is a more subtle player but other than that, on given its still early days, I dont know...............

Looks like your type of player going on past experience
Nerik Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 I like Voronin. Been impressed with his start. 3 goals in a few games and that augurs well. If he gets 10 or more I am sure most people would be surprised.
Stevie H Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 i love that people are surprised that he's actually good. experienced ukraine international, years in germany, never touched the champman radar. of course he's f***ing top quality and what a coup by rafa, grabbing him before anyone else realised he was free. which is not to mention the stonewashed style.
Redkop Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 I love the little guy, a great signing by Rafa and makes up a bit for Luis going
Kahnee Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 Especially if I close it Which you've spectacularly failed to do
miceal Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 Come on, let's get this on to a second page at least. This might help. The most obvious difference between him and Kuyt is he scores goals ....

hideNseek Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 Good player. He's going to make it harder for Crouch and Kuyt to get games which is a good thing for us.
hideNseek Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 The most obvious difference is the f***in' ponytail What pony tail
Elisha_Scott Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 The other good thing about Voronin is that he will be able to help any potential new signings from his part of the world. Roll on January
