He was utter s*** at Arsenal, he's been utter s*** in Spain for Madrid.

 

And he hates England.

I thought he was amazing in his first few months at Arsenal, then seemed to go down hill. Very very talented footballer, doesn't seem to show it very often though.

Alright sorry, he had a few good games, done well against Chelsea in an FA Cup game and was utter s*** the rest of the time.

 

Why would he do a good job at us? He's already failed in England and says he hates it over here, he's then gone back to Spain on loan and so far failed completely there.

 

He might of looked good at Sevilla ages ago but im interested in now rather than what he was like 4 years ago or whatever.

If no one / not many are available then i'd rather sign no one than have him.

 

And whatever we think about his ability, he hates it over here. He's said it about 80 times.

Just that apart from simao and malouda who may not be any good here anyway ,we seem to be struggling for names.

 

Prehaps Rafa will sign someone who we havent heard of and by the looks of it , it may be best

Reyes is one of those players that 'nearly' looks very good. Sometimes. Decent passer of the ball, and scores some good goals, but unable to get past defenders.

Rafa says he needs money, hopefully he will get the money and then he has to sign the quality players he/we need. Personally i think it's easier to underspend and over achieve, next season is a big one for Rafa.

He was on the verge of being top class until Mike Riley gave the Nevile inbreds "carte blanche" to chop him down at every opportunity in that Arsenal 50th unbeaten game match a few years back.

 

He never recovered after that injury he got during it and seems to have a total mental block since. His confidence seemed shattered.
