James Richardson apparently said on Talksport yesterday that Milan sold 10,000 of their allocation to travel agencies and there's been a big stink about it over there.

But Rick said that Milan had refused LFCs request to Milan for any spares

Sack Parry!

(on the bright side, this means that we'll outnumber them, again!)

Milan website says a couple of flights from Malpensa were cancelled, but flights from other airports (Linate basically) were fine.

Can't find any word on tickets there.

Most of Milan's tickets went to various Referee's and their families.

Serious point here: We're not just playing a football match, we're fighting evil and corruption in the form of Berlusconi, his mafia roots and his bribery and cheating in the game of football. Good v Evil. Light v Dark. Kramer v Kramer.

UEFA refused us any Milan spares

Sack Parry anyway.

And then shoot Platini (after he has given SteG the cup, of course) ;)

Much as we may moan about the ticket office and the travel agents....

imagine getting sorted only to find that the air traffic controllers were on strike. That would be gutting.

I think I'm going to be in the Milan end with all the other Irish reds, or at least a part of what was supposed to be the Milan end

I suspect that technically, the Milan fans will be in the 'other' Liverpool end... ;)

The lads I know going from Ireland are definitely going to be in the Milan end as they booked it through some travel agent that is going via Rome! Only cost them 900euro all in but I haven't had confirmation of wheather they've actually got the tickets from them yet.

We're probably gonna outnumber their fans nearly 2:1 . Will be like a home game atmosphere for us, and Milan's record playing away from home is hardly spectacular (I think they only won 1 game outside Milan in the CL this year).

i know football doesnt work like this but i think a set of supporters that cant even sell out an allocation of just 17.000 for the biggest club game in the world dont deserve to see their team win.

im sure it was mentioned in a report that milan HAVE failed to sell out their allocation but are putting a brave face on out of embarrassment.

if it's anything like last time - that's a huge boost for us

Sky do seem pretty sure of this story, another longer report this morning saying that Milan sent back 4000 tickets. What happens to those then?
