After watching Pearce's post match interview on MOTD, it does seem that he out of the door in the Summer. Basically said, whatever happens, he has had a great time and if he has to go, he will and just find another club to manage.

 

If he goes, who will get the job?

 

He has got the U21 European Championships in the Summer for starters.

 

By the way, that Mpenza looks really handy for City. He has done really well for them since he has arrived. Wouldn't suprise if a few other clubs go for him.

M.E.N. Sport understands Bolton-based Allardyce would opt for City if he was presented with a straight choice with Newcastle but at the moment the only club actively bidding for him are the Magpies.

 

City's five-man board, that includes at least two and possibly three pro- Allardyce supporters, would of course have to axe Pearce ahead of any takeover announcement but with Shepherd increasingly confident of landing Allardyce next week, the Blues' board will need to be bold.

I think you're bang on their. Jewell certainly isn't commiting himself to Wigan and feels he's taken them as far as he can and he can't surely expect to get a 'bigger' club than City.
