  1. Anyone got a list of our opening fixtures the last 5 years in comparison to the Mancs and Chelsea?
  2. http://www.nesn.com/2011/04/report-liverpool-interested-in-sevilla-winger-diego-perotti.html Report: Liverpool Interested in Sevilla Winger Diego Perotti With warmer weather just around the corner, Kenny Dalglish is looking to get some summer transactions in the works. Liverpoolfc.tv reports that the Reds manager is seeking creative ways to best utilize Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll, and Sevilla winger Diego Perotti just might be a good fit. Dalglish said that he did not have the right combination of players to help Suarez and Carroll live up to their full potential and is ready to make some deals. "We signed Andy Carroll for five-and-a-half years, not for three weeks," Dalglish said. "[in the summer] we'll analyze what we need. Andy is going to be part of our team, so is Suarez, so we need a combination of players who are going to be complementary to what we have." A native of Argentina, Perotti has been playing very well for his Sevilla squad and, according to various sources, has caught the attention of the Liverpool club. The 22-year-old winger has three goals and three assists in 22 games this season for Sevilla, who has very little chance of playing in the Champions League. Even though he signed a five-year deal with Sevilla, the club has shown interest in dealing Perotti away if a decent offer is brought to the table. They are looking to get around £16 million for him.
  3. Thanks for the replies. I was also just wondering as regards to push emails on an iphone. Will it still work ok on orange, what with it theoretically being linked to two networks?
  4. Those on orange, has anyone found a big improvement since the sharing networks with t mobile happened?
  5. New single. Album out in march.
  6. Shearer won a Premier League title. But I get the point. Valid argument. I'd rather be a legend than have a lot of trophies. Especially at Liverpool obviously. Torres obviously feels differently- about a lot of things.
  7. f***ing embarrassing comments by Roy. Hopefully the pressure gets too much and he quits. This is f***ing pathethic.
  8. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=831450&sec=england&cc=5739 NESV has no intention of losing Liverpool to Lim By Harry Harris, Football Correspondent ESPNsoccernet can disclose New England Sports Ventures (NESV) has a watertight contract to purchase Liverpool and has no intention of relinquishing that right despite a late attempt from Singapore businessman Peter Lim to launch a rival takeover bid.
  9. So you are behind Roy "100%" because " Not since Shanks has there been a manager with so much to deal with off the park, in my opinion" What about Rafa then? From late 2007 he was having to fight against the owners constantly.
  10. I'd say what Benzo suggests is the safest bet.
  11. Pellegrini would have been a brilliant appointment. How we picked Roy after interviewing both is a mystery. I just have to assume his "Englishness" came into it.

    Agger

http://www.clickliverpool.com/sport/liverpool-fc/1210783-daniel-agger-refuses-to-adapt-to-new-liverpool-fc-style.html Daniel Agger has admitted that he is frustrated by Roy Hodgson’s style of play at Liverpool. The attack-minded defender will be eager to forget his brief cameo at Old Trafford yesterday after failing to prevent the cross that led to Dimitar Berbatov’s winning goal just two minutes after he had replaced Paul Konchesky at left-back. Agger, who was also left out of the starting line-up against Birmingham City last weekend, has lifted the lid on his frustrations behind Hodgson’s approach to games and has refused to alter his natural game despite fears that it could see him overlooked for a regular place in the side. He said: "The manager's philosophy is that we play football in attack, but not at the back. That's not my style. “I'm not that type of player. I like to keep the ball on the ground, and that's what I'll keep doing. Time will show if he [Hodgson] doesn't want to play me because of that". "I'll try to change myself, but I will never be a player who offloads the ball at every opportunity." "I'll fight for my chance. I know what I stand for, and I think he [Hodgson] does too". Roy thinks we're f***ing Wimbledon.
  14. Is that a joke? Rafa was brilliant for us the first few years and in 08/09 nearly won us the title. In the end a combination of continuous fighting against the owners and lack of investment in the team meant we struggled. Yes, we should have still finished higher than 7th last season, but he did great things for this club- and if he had been supported and backed and worked in an environment under good owners I think he would have won us the title and more during his time and still be here today. For those same reasons (the board, lack of investment, etc) I sympathise with Roy and want to give him some time and support- but he's not of the same quality or class as Rafa. There's a reason one got appointed as manager of the European Champions within days of us letting him go and one was managing at Fulham last season.
  15. We interviewed, and should have appointed Pellegrini. What Purslow is doing selecting the manager f*** knows. Complete joke.
